1 year older and wiser

Ryan turned 28 on Tuesday. We had a nice dinner on Sunday (ribs, classic) and got to go out without the kiddos on his real big day. We went out to a Korean restaurant, and then I made him close his eyes to take him to his surprise activity. We got an indoor tennis court, and battled it out. Its been a long time since we have been able to play, but even longer since we have played while I was NOT pregnant. I'm happy to report that I came away with a victory. Final score: 7 to 5. And no, I don't go easy just because its your birthday :)

Little Miss

Just in case you wanted to see like a billion pictures of little Jane's cute face. . .

She has been smiling for a little while now, but I've been enjoying them too much to grab the camera. Dad snapped this one of her all ready to go to church.

She's pretty much an angel baby :) Dad says this one makes her look like a bobble head.

Boo Boo

Crew fell down the stairs the other day. It was scary because it was REALLY loud, and bled A LOT for the first minute or so. It stopped bleeding pretty quickly, but I was worried he bit off his tongue or something at first. We are happy that there was nothing more than a fat ugly lip and a scraped chin.

Snow Days

We have had so much snow this winter! Last night we got dumped on again, and Ryan's classes were cancelled. I like the snow, but this is the first year that I really feel like I have had enough. I'm already waiting for spring and warmer weather so we can go outside! But I will say, the snow is very pretty.

To show how high the piles of snow are! It took the boys a long time to shovel the driveway.

When we get snowed on, we literally get snowed in! Its kind of fun to open our front door, and see the snow almost pouring in - especially fun for Crew.

I took these pics over a few different snow days. Crew loves tools and helping Josh work on the house. When Josh comes home from work and is backing the work truck into the driveway, you can hear it beep as it backs up. Every day when we hear it, Crew starts asking for Josh. And if they are ever working on the house and we can hear them pound on a wall or make any noise, Crew asks for Josh and wants to go help. Josh had a shovel that was the perfect size for Crew to help shovel the snow. He loved it!

Our camera passed away a few weeks ago, which explains the lack of blogging. Not many pictures are being taken around here - and who really wants to hear me blabber? That's what I thought. We had a lovely Christmas in Utah with lots of time spent with family. Its taken us a while to get back into our routine. And I was able to get a hold of my mom's old camera so you can enjoy a few pics.

Jane turned 2 months old on the 6th. She was 9lbs 12 oz and 21 inches long at her dr's apt. That's something like the 3rd percentile for height! We can definitely tell she is changing though. We had a few weeks that were hard at the beginning because she seemed to be really uncomfortable and cried a lot. Be she is much happier these days and getting more smiley all the time. She sleeps a 5-7 hour stretch at night, so I'm not complaining! We love having her in our family!

And poor Crew has been sick the last few days, we've been doing a lot of cuddling and watching TV, which is pretty much all he wants to do. I usually try to limit TV, but that is what has been getting us through these last few days. This picture pretty much sums it all up. . .

Jane's blessing

Jane was blessed while we were out in Utah over Christmas break. It was so nice to have all of Ryan's family there as well as my parents, aunt & uncle, and a few cousins.

Janes dress was made by Ryan's mom, among the other million things she was doing for us, as well as everything she was doing to get ready for Christmas. It turned out so gorgeous, I loved it. I'm hoping to get some better pictures of her in it. My mom made the cuddly blanket Jane is laying on. Thanks so much to both Grandmas!
