So, we're a little bit tired of you, so there won't be waffles tonight.

Ok, I was joking about the whole "being tired of you", but not about the waffles. There really aren't any waffles.

Sorry...? Try not to weep all through this sunny Sunday.

We'll try harder next week.

First Retreat.

Ah, retreat. A day of retreating, retreatment and retreatery.

Let's break down that word, shall we?

Re + treat = retreat.

Re, meaning again, combined with a delectable delicious, means an event as wonderful as eating a delectable treat, and then eating it again. So, be prepared for all manner of incredible.

So, just another reminder. In order to experience this dual-treatiness, you will need to be in the International Lounge at 3:30 sharp! Except if you're Larry, and then be there at 3:00.

Superbowl Superfun Supersticious Superwaffles

Ah the Superbowl. A day of super fun superfluous superiority. Right? Right.

Well, should you find yourself thinking to yourself, around nine 0'clock on Sunday, "My what a peculiar craving I am having! How I YEARN for the taste of a finely crafted waffle!"

Well, you're in luck because we have a solution.

But this post is sort of doing it for me! I told you we would definitely keep up with the blog in 2010!

So this Friday (TODAY!) is the first official Staff Sanity of the new A-Team, so y'all better be there! We will be bowling at the Fun Park at 6:00 p.m. You should bring circa $5 for your game, but if you are poor (aka all of us), there is a coupon in the coupon book from the Bookstore, so you can bowl for cheaper! Gotta love the coups.

If you need a ride or something, you are always welcome to call a coordinator, Lisa, or whoever!

Also, you should be aware that the winning bowlers of this moderately friendly competition will be the recipients of an INCREDIBLE prize during retreat. So get on your pseudo-trendy bowling shoes, your best bowling shirt, and pick out your luckiest bowling ball (don't you all own at least three? Oh wait, that's just Larry...), and get ready for the best 2 hours of your life. This brings me to my next point, which is that bowling games never last all night, so you can still salvage your Friday social agenda after stopping in to see us. Mmmmk? Mmmmmk.

And, in case bowling just isn't enough excitement for one day (what more could you possibly want?!), or in case you've been staying up at night wishing you could see that INCREDIBLE welcome video again from the opening banquet, your wish has been granted. Welcome Welcome to the New A-Team

So, it's 2010. And in 2010, we are more diligent about updating the A-Team blog. That's not so much a resolution as it is a prediction of a future event whose probably of occuring rounds to 100% (much like preidcting if the sun will rise or if Aaron will wear a bow tie). So, be prepared for that.

Also in 2010, we eat waffles! Our first waffle night will be held at the home of Amy Jo, Kaili Dan, and Dione in Brooklane 3. The address is:

Feel free to contact us if you run into any of the following problems:
1. You can't find it.
2. You need a ride.
3. You are afraid to go alone. (I would also think you'd be afraid to call, but I'm exhorting you with this post to fear not. We generally don't bite.)
4. You want to bring your roommate/boyfriend/significant other/brother-in-law's pet chihuahua named Paco. I can save you the call here: just bring whoever because everyone's invited.
5.You fall down on the ice and hurt yourself. Again, you can call us here, but I do think it would be better to just go right ahead and call 911. But maybe you can call us AFTER you call 911. That would be great.
