"Lets Get Physical!"

This fall, as most of you know Chelsea & Tyler played on a school sports team. Chelsea played on the Mt. Airy High School Womans Golf Team, and Tyler played on the Mt. Airy Middle School Soccer Team.

The womans golf team finished the season placing first at every match except for one, but came in second by only 2 strokes. Chelsea shot two 60s and two 63s through out the season. This was Chelsea's first year on the team and loved every minute... even when it was cold, wet, and rainy. She is sad the season is over but plans to keep practicing and be ever better next year.


The MAMS soccer teams season is not quite over yet, but with only a few games left the team has only lost one game. Tyler played goalie this year and even if he didnt get to use his super speed as much, he loved watching the game from the goal box! We will keep you posted on how the rest of the season goes and post some pics as well.

It's Fall Y'all!

Around here in good ol' North Carolina, Fall is the most wonderful time of the year! The colors of the trees are absolutely magnificent. Every Sunday after church we go visit Nanny Ethel in Claudville, Virginia. It's about a 15 minute drive, but during the Fall you wish the drive would take just a bit longer so you can dwell on the beauty of the scenery. Today, after visiting Nanny we decided to take that longer drive to Kibler Valley. We took a lot of pictures, and here are some for you!

One Tree Hill Here We Come!

Mom (Sandy) had a work conference to attend in Wilmington, and this being the place where Kaitlin and Chelsea's favorite T.V show, One Tree Hill is filmed, guess who tagged along?! You guessed it, we certainly did!

This is one of the places where One Tree Hill is filmed. When the show first started out, it was a cafe where most of the kids hung out, now its a clothing store called Clothes over Bros. We were pumped when Ben, our new best friend and the bellhop dude, told us this was right across the street from our hotel.

We were feeling like superheroes one night, so when we saw these boxers in Wal-Mart we knew we had to have them. Chelsea was Superman and Kaitlin was Batman. How lucky would people feel if they knew we could save them?! Pretty Darn Lucky!

1st Family Vacation!

We, the sweet seven, had our first ever family beach vacation. Kyler Sue and Alicia were both able to come, and of course we couldn't leave behind little Elliott! We had so much fun together shopping, swimming, and getting our tan on. :)

The weather wasn't the warmest on the first day if you can't tell by Kenan's attire! That baby was real cold and all. He eventually got out of his eskimo outfit...the next day. Ha Ha! But as the weekend progressed it got way warmer and a lot prettier.

Back Art By Alicia! Ha Ha. Alicia had the suntan lotion that you just spray on and go, well unfortunately Jared has pale skin (due to the two years he spent in a suit!) so he got a little sunburnt in the places the spray didn't touch. But, Hey! He got the coolest suntan we've ever seen!

The Three Amigas getting ready to whip it on the Golf Cart. The adventures on the Golf Cart were the best ever. For example, Roxanne and Trixie (Kaitlin and Chelsea) stalked these two kids to find out where they got their real cool scooters, or J-rod going off-roading! The list just goes on and on, let me tell you!

Sea Donkey: a person of a much larger stature that is wearing a bathing suit/speedo that doesn't really compliment their figure. Basically a really big woman wearing a bikini or a really big man wearing a speedo. If the above statements do not make since, Kenan and Jared created one! Everyone meet the Tyler the Sea Donkey!

Who Let the Dogs Out!

Well it sure has been a while sense our last post, but we are back in action, and hopefully this time we can keep our blog updated a tad better.

In other news, we introduce the newest member of our PalJohn family! Sir Elliott Hansbrough! Us kids finally won the parents over about getting a dog. They weren't too excited about getting Elliot at first but after about the first week the whole family was completely infatuated! Elliot for sure gets the most attention! 

Elliot is a Bichon and is about four and a half months old. He is completely white and real fuzzy! He is a little dog and only weighs about 8 lbs and probably wont get much bigger. He's laid back and loves just about all the girls. Unfortunately he does not feel the same about the boys, everytime they come in the door he welcomes them with a few barks. He's our little guard dog!

We all love Elliott a ton and are excited to have him with us on all our journeys!

Tyler

T-Money is the baby of the family, and unfortunately we never let him forget his place, but we love him nonetheless. He's a great athlete, and is very intellectual. He's a nerd, but he's the coolest one we know, besides our homeboy ERIC! He takes a lot of crud from us, and now thanks to Scott, he gives it right back. He's growing up so fast! He's the coolest little brother and he knows how to handle them nerf guns. How's that eye doing Tyler?

Chelsea

Chelsea is an oxymoron, in the nicest way possible. She comes off shy at first, but boy let me tell you, she comes out of her shell... quick! She's a beautiful teenage girl, and if she tells you any different, she owes you a dollar. She's hilarious without even trying, and can brighten your day just by smiling. She's even trained like a dog, because when you say, "GET IN THE TRUCK TRIXIE!" she knows you're talking business.

Kaitlin

Well, for anyone who has ever talked to Kaitlin, you know that she's pretty outgoing. She's one of the crazy people in this world and that is why we love her! She can be an airhead, but she can also be the one to come up with the greatest idea's. She's one of the many pieces of our families puzzle, but with out that one piece our whole puzzle would fall apart. "Hers" is beautiful, and she will tell you all about it, but hey, "she's just sayin."

Kenan

That "brutter!" He's the one that keeps us laughing for hours at the dinner table, the one that can tell a story 10,000 times and it still be as funny as the first time he told it, and he's also the one that can walk into a room and scare the living daylights out of you. (and you almost wet your pants EVERY time) He's the jokester of the family, and there is no denying it. However, "hims" also has a big heart. He may have said he hated everyone that use to walk into Mt. Airy Middle School, but deep down we knew he loved at least ONE thing about them. And with every goodbye, he can put a smile on your face..."SEE YA BYE!"

Jared

J-Rod, our Idaho-Potato, is at BYU Idaho getting his college education. Even though he is living 2,000 miles away, we still consider him part of the fam here in North Carolina. He got back from a full-time mission in Nov. of 2008, and now is a tad nicer then before. No more being saran wrapped to a light pole, or hung on a bed post by your undies. He's now a Gospel Gangster, and we could not be more proud.

The Parents

Often called "Hot Bama" and "Dukes," these two love birds just celebrated their 1st anniversary. In most families they would be the ones to rule the house but in this one, we have to say the kids do! They stopped paying attention to what we did when they got married, so now life's a party. ;) We think they are a GREAT team, especially when deciding NOT to get us a dog. All jokes aside, we are truly blessed to have parents like them. They sacrifice a lot for us, and we're truly thankful. Working full-time, and serving in time consuming church callings can be overwhelming at times, but they still manage to put us, kids, first in every decision they make. WE LOVE YOU GUYS! 

The Sweet Seven

Dan, Sandy, Jared (even if he left us for Idaho), Kenan, Kaitlin, Chelsea, and Tyler equal the sweet seven. We live in the original Mayberry and love every minute of it, right Trixie? There is never a dull moment in the PalJohn Family, what can we say, we're just that snazzy!
