Christmas

I enjoy our simple Christmas. We don't really go crazy and buy our kids a ton of things. We only get them 3 toys that we really think and try to get them something that they would think was special. It takes a lot more thought I feel then just getting them whatever, but I really enjoy their faces when they open them up.

Christmas Eve

For the past two years now we have gone out to the Desert and played around. It beats shopping with all the crowds. The kids love it too.

Santa at Grandma Jeans

 I missed getting Gracie, but here are the rest of them. I had to add Griffin! I love it when they do that for Santa.

We love Grandma Jean. She was reading to some of her Great Grandchildren.

Gingerbread Houses

Terra, Candice, and I made these houses. It is a bit of work, but I think it is worth the effort. Lucy wrote in school that this was her favorite part of Christmas.

I love the way they all look together.

December

 We tried to take pictures of the grand kids for Grandma. Lets just say they didn't work out too well. These are some of the best. I thought I would just put them on here just for fun.

Tyler's First Camp out and First Orchestra Concert and Christmas Concert

Tyler had his first campout in December as a scout. He was able to go with his Dad which was nice for me. It was a space one so they were able to bring any electronics. Which all of the boys that remembered were sure to take advantage of! Some even brought a tv and an xbox. It was a crazy weekend to have a campout there was a chance of rain all weekend. Of course it didn't rain until it was time to take the tents down so they were a muddy mess.

Tyler had signed up to sing with a group of kids Silent Night. He was so handsome up there doing his part.

Grandma got to come and listen to her Grand kids sing. Hunter really wanted her to go!

My Baby is 5

Gracie turned five last week. She woke up and said "now I'm five so I get to go to Kindergarten!" I had to explain to her that she had to be 5 when the next year started. Mommy's not ready to lose her to school yet.

 She got a princess bounce house.

 She got pizza! Her favorite!

 She also talked me into making her a barbie cake! It was more work than I expected.

 Boy is she worth it all! We love this girl.

Halloween

Every year my kids have a blast on Halloween. They all love to dress up. Here is Gracie with her preschool class. They do a costume parade every year.

Gracie was dressed up as Ariel for the parade.

 We went to the bass pro shop too for Halloween. The kids got pictures taken there and did all the fun activities. If you haven't been to the bass pro for holidays you should. It is very fun for kids.

 They all wore different costumes to this.

Tyler made this costume last minute. He wanted to Indiana Jones rather than Darth Vader for Trunk or Treat.

Ariel again!

 Lucy was Little Red Riding Hood for Trunk or Treat.

 I didn't get a picture of Hunter at Trunk or Treat. It is hard to get that boy to stop moving!

 On Halloween day Main Street in downtown Mesa did a Trick or Treating at most of the stores. The kids had a lot of fun.

 Gracie found another Mermaid on Main St.

 Halloween rolled around and Lucy decided she wanted to be a vampire. Her two front teeth aren't in yet so she looks like she has fangs!

 Gracie called this her Tangled costume.
