It was quick and easy....

When I am busy cooking dinner I try and make the kids entertain themselves and then when they need me or want to do something I feel like I am always saying..... No, you can't do that, No, that is too messy...No, No, No. But last night when Emma Chase asked if she could paint her face (right before dinner)...I actually said YES! I'm pretty sure I surprised her - Ha!! I am sure that she was expecting NO, Emma Chase maybe later - I'm cooking and that is too messy!! Anyway, I painted her face and of course Braxton and Collier wanted to join in....It really only took me 5 minutes to paint 3 little faces and Wow they were excited!! It really is just the simple little things that bring them the most joy.......

Quiet No More....

Walker is 9 months old and he has definitely found his voice!! Our sweet little quiet baby LOVES to babble and scream...joyful squeals that is!! We had his 9 month check up on Thursday....He weighs 24 lbs (90%) and 29.5 inches long (75%)....We definitely have a chunky happy little man!

I wish you could hear is joyful squeals.....!

Oh, what she would do with a lightweight baby....she so wants to put him on her hip and carry him around....He doesn't mind at all, but he is just too BIG....she really makes me nervous swinging him around.....

This happened a week or so ago, but i am still laughing about it so i thought I would post it.....

Emma Chase is just dying for Collier to be potty trained (mommy, not so much). Yes, it will be nice to not buy diapers, but until they are VERY ready.....just more stress and messes to clean up. Maybe I'm hoping that he will potty train himself like Emma Chase did....we'll see!! Anyway, I was in the kitchen and I could hear Emma Chase and Collier in the bathroom...I could her explaining EVERYTHING and saying, "Look, Collier...I'll show you how..." She must have gotten on the potty because the next thing I hear was a sweet little 2 year old voice say..."WHERE'D YOUR WEENIE GO, CHASE???"....Emma Chase just laughed and said.."Collier, silly...girls don't have WEENIES!!" I was laughing so hard....Collier was just so concerned and worried about Emma Chase's weenie...The rest of the day he kept lifting up her skirt looking for a weenie.....i thought it was so funny I just had to share.....

Trick or Treat

We had a fun, fun Halloween in our neighborhood...some friends came, we trick or treated, grilled hotdogs and then watch a big screen movie outside ( projected huge on the side of the house)...Charlie Brown and Winnie the Pooh Halloween played tonight!!!

Here we are as the Tin Man, Dorothy, the Lion and the Scarecrow.....the sweetest lion around...the Neely and Prier Kiddos...always a fun group...Emma Chase might as well get used to boys.....guess she is lucky to have Maddie across the street...for some girl time.... our tin man....the day before he asked me when he could pick out what he wanted to be for halloween....guess this was my last year....but, he was a trooper as the tin man...I thought he looked great.......Oh, how I love collier's pouty little face.... hanging out watching the big kids slide......

Cooper and Collier were good in the wagon...they just hung out and ate whatever people gave to them.....they figured out if they dragged their pumpkins on the ground it made a funny sound ( well, funny to them anyway!!!, cute for us:)!!)....I love watching all the kids RUN from house to house.....Wow, the tin man has been busy....
Clark and Emma Chase watching the movie...my other movie pics didn't turn out...wishing I had a big flash for my camera...... Our GROSS pumpkin.....we got our pumpkins so early that they were rotten when we got ready to carve them....disgusting....Braxton said it looked like it threw up....and they left it there...

I took the whole clan to Braxton's Halloween party at school....I only snapped a few pics....

the mummy.....turned into pirates....Collier jumped right in and wanted a tattoo too!!I thought it was sweet watching Collier sit with all the big kids...they were getting ready to watch a movie and he was right in the middle.....

Build a Bear....

Tommy and my dad went hunting, so Grammee came to stay with us....Emma Chase and I had a fun day at the pumpkin patch and then we all had a fun night at Build-A-Bear.....Collier had never made a bear so he was very fun to watch....I think that Build-a-Bear is such a cute place....it's an extra special stuffed animal...

I wish I could remember what the girl was telling them to do....I love to watch them......especially Collier....He was just one of the big kids....following directions......
