Bee Brothers

The Adventures of the Bee Brothers. The boys have had a great time in their very hot halloween outfits in 80+ degree weather.
We had a fun time at Weeki Wachee's Wild and Wicked Nights.
Brendan won first place for the boy costume in his age group at the Halloween party we attended with Natalie's Mommy's group.

Brendan's sleep habits

Ever since Brendan has been in his "Big Boy Bed" he has developed some strange habits. He is obsessed with hats and shoes.
The first picture is shortly after he got a new hat and shoes.
The second picture is shortly after his baby brother is born and he is wearing a baby hat that is actually his, not Kaiden's but he doesn't know that and if you look closely he is clutching his Mickey Mouse in his hand (how sweet).
The third picture was taken today. He was having a hard time laying down for his nap and finally he passed out with the door open...something he never does. So when I got up to shut it. I found him with a Steelers' fan mask on and an Easter basket as his hat. Notice in this picture that he has his paci in his mouth :)
I think I will have to start looking in on him every nap time to add to the picture album (he-he)

Buc Bay

We have Season Passes to Weeki Wachee Springs this year but I have been too chicken to take Brendan by myself because of being so prego. Weeki Wachee Springs is a State Park/Water Park in one. They have animal shows, mermaid shows, and a river ride on one side and the water park and lazy river on the other side. So I was afraid to take him to the water park myself because I thought he would just run straight to the water and I wouldn't be able to catch him. So we waited for a day when Daddy could join us. We went after church and before Brendan's nap. We were there about 2 hours and Brendan was having a great time. When we were leaving Joe put Brendan on his shoulders so he could carry the bag and cooler better (awww isn't that sweet! he didn't make his 8 month pregnant wife carry anything) and in the short ride to the car Brendan passed out on Daddy's head.

Sanford Zoo

Scotty, Karen, and Nate were in Orlando for a conference and Brendan and I went over to spend the day with them. We took the kids to the Sanford Zoo. Karen got all the good pictures for the whole day, but I ran out of memory on my camera :(
After seeing all the animals (Elephants, Kangaroos, alligators, lots of birds, cats, and snakes) we changed the boys into some swim clothes and let them run around the water park part of the zoo. Nate was very daring and ran right in...it took Brendan a while (probably because of the scare form the Easter sprinkler) but they had a blast!

The Nursery

So it is still a little messy, but I finally got the boy's room set up. We had a crib donated from a girl I was working with at the hospital which was a very big blessing. We also bought a bookcase to store Brendan's very big collection of books that he now has and I think we are actually ready to put a baby in here.
Fortunately or unfortuately Joe says we should be out of this house in the next 6 months or as few a 2 months...so we can actually have a room for the boys eventually that we can paint again, but for now we are blessed that their room is a big as it is.

Easter

For Easter this year Brendan had a great big Easter basket waiting for him when he got out of the shower. We went to church, home for a quick nap and then over to Great-Gram and Connie's house.
We had an Easter egg hunt between Chase and Brendan and Brendan did really well. His eggs were of course hidden on the ground mostly, but he still did a really great job of finding them and putting them in his basket. After lunch the boys got to play in the sprinkler...Brendan was a little nervous about the flying cold water but he finally "warmed up" to it. :)

Tot Time

On April 7th and 10th Brendan got to go to Tot Time in New Port Richey. Because it was spring break Amy and Chase got to join us and on Friday Aunt Heidi got to come too.
The place was a lot of fun for the kids with bounce houses, trampolines, bubbles, bars, and foam pits.
Brendan did not like to be on the trampoline with other kids because he would just fall down (we are working on jumping) and he LOVED the foam pit and so did his Aunt Heidi she even almost lost a sock or two in there
