Bailey Dance our daughter

Hannah and Jared are pleased to announce the birth of our daughter Bailey Dance on November 16th, 2009 at 12:18pm. She was 6lbs and 5 ounces and19 inches in length. Hannah and our little girl are both doing fine they are growing, healing, and smiling. Bailey has a little jaudice but thats all. She is a very calm baby and doesn't cry to much. We arrived home in Centerville on Wednesday and later received a nice visit from great grandparents on that day. We would like to thank everyone for their emails, text messages, gifts, and prayers. We three are truly grateful. What a wonderful blessing it is to raise one of God's children. Hannah and I are very excited to be parents and embrace this responsiblity. God be thanked for his matchless love.

Been a while

Well fam- I have to say it was the best summer yet being around most all of you for the family reunion. Just wanted to let you all know if you have any medical problems you can now come see me (in case you don't trust Dance Doctors), in the past week we've learned injections and suturing. What else do I even need to know? : ) Overall school is awesome. Love the material, professors, classmates- everything. Shayne is enjoying work. He's taking on more & more responsibility. A new one: he has to sign off on all expenses that occur at the plant. Which means he has to know even more about everything that's going on. Life is good. Already looking forward to Christmas, we'll be in Seattle, who else?
-We went down to see our new niece Raquel the weekend before Conference. Wonderful baby blessing and she's pretty awesome. JeVonne and Paul have done well.

Ragnar Relay Triumph

The Ragnar Relay is over and it was great! Everyone ran well. Some highlights...-Johnny sleeping right through the rain.-Sharla feeding everyone with a hot spaghetti dinner. (Much cheaper than the advertised one)-Johnny and John taking on a partial 4th leg to help Joshua finish his 3rd after he sprained his ankle right at the beginning of his 2nd.-Grandma and Grandpa coming across the finish line with us and getting medals.-Everyone's great attitude. (John pointed out that 12 tired runners, 185 miles, and not one swear word.)-Bonnie and Dave fitting right in with our family.Overall it was a great experience. Thanks to everyone who helped, runners, van lenders, food providers, and cheerers. Till next year.And see you all at the family reunion!!!

Jared's Birthday Party

Hello Everyone! Hope all is well and that everyone is enjoying this wonderful Memorial Day weekend! Another very special holiday is soon approaching. My darling husband, Jared, is having a birthday on Friday, May 29th! To celebrate his birthday we invite all to come and share some cake, ice cream, and lots of laughs at our place in West Valley, Utah. Come and join us at 7:00pm Friday, May 29th. It's a BABY!

Jared and I are having a baby!! Yay! It's our first and greatest addition to our small family. I'm due November 27th, the day after Thanksgiving. So the holidays around here will be interesting. Morning sickness has been fun, especially with teaching in the classroom. I've been so lucky that it only hits me before or after school. I really want to stay home with the new baby so I won't be teaching next year. I will finish out this year and help out with the summer school program. Things with Jared's job at the credit union are going very well and we have decided to stay in Utah for the next year or two. We are so excited to be parents! Today we went to the doctor's and even got to hear the baby's heartbeat!!! Jared and I would love a little boy, but if it's a girl we would be just as glad. Either way, we are thankful to soon be parents and raise a little child of God in our family.

Good News!

Hey Fam! Hope everyone had a great Christmas. I'm already starting to get excited for the Family Reunion though it's far away. I have two pieces of news I wanted to share. First off...

I was alerted that the Brotherhood of the Frogs is at it again, the Dance Family Waterpolo team won their first game of the season!!!! Glad to see the tradition holds strong.

Secondly, I got a letter from ISU last week, and was offered a seat in their Boise class. So this August I get to start the Physician's Assistant Program! I'm glad to have plenty of solid examples of schooling from all the cousins.
