Holy Crap Life Happens Fast!

So much has happened since my last post....uhm only a year ago!  Ridiculous, I know.  I'm such a loser at taking pics and posting on here so I'm gonna try and do better after today.  Ok after I get a new battery for my camera (which I'm gonna have to order online since no one carries one around these here parts).  One of my biggest parent regrets is not taking more pictures of everyday life.  I've gotta get my act together.

I'll start with Chris...he is still working at the Cheese Plant but on the morning shift which is SO AWESOME!  He gets home at 3:30pm when Cayden and Casey walk in the door from school.  It's so fun to have them all at home at the same time.  That is probably my favorite time of day when everyone comes home and I get to hear about their day. 

He still goes coyote hunting every chance he gets.  He is still Cayden's scout leader and that has been fun for Chris to be so involved with teenage boys and their "journey" into manhood.  Man he's a good sport. 

He's also turned into Mr. Mom again....I've started working part time in the evenings so he gets to do homework with the boys, make dinner, clean up, run kids around, bathe and put them to bed at night.  The house is clean when I come home and more often then not, the dishes are done.  He does a great job!

I'm just busy being the Mom and working at night.  It's sad but that pretty much sums it up for me.  I can't believe how busy life is.  It seems like we are always going here or doing something there.  Raising my three boys is my life.  Sometimes I think about having a little girl and how much fun it would be and then I realize I've got enough on my plate already.....and then I wouldn't be the princess anymore.  Uh duh!

Cade is just starting basketball.  He turns 14 this week!  My baby boy is taller than me now.  He eats more than Chris and I put together.  He shot his first elk this year and I am so dang proud of him.  He's getting all A's in school and is about ready to start his Eagle Scout Project.  He's not sure what he's gonna do yet....we are still in the planning stages.  He is so good with his little brothers - they worship him and he loves that. 

Casey is doing so good in school and more importantly HE LOVES IT!  He's in all day Kindergarten.  He gets on the bus at 7:05am and gets home at 3:30pm.  It's a long day for him but he's doing great.  He usually has homework to do when he gets home and then any free time he has he spends playing with his best friend Traegan (who lives right across the street).  They are brothers from another mother.  He loves to go hunting with Chris and just being outdoors. 

Camden is getting so big.  He's running everywhere and into everything.  He understands everything you say to him but refuses to talk more than one word at a time.....probably cause he's got a permanent binky in his mouth!  Uhg we are really struggling with not letting him have his own way....oh yes, and he still sleeps with us at night.  He starts out in his own bed but always wakes up during the night and crawls into bed with us.  Most of the time we don't even hear him come in....we just wake up and he's there.  NOT FUN.  He loves his brothers and follows them wherever they go.  He loves to play with Casey outside and spy on our next door neighbors through the fence.  Good thing they think he's so cute or we'd be in trouble.

Time flies...

I can't believe it's been so long since I've posted anything on here.....Christmas and New Years have come and gone.  We had a nice Christmas at home.  Grandma and Grandpa Boothe came over while the boys unwrapped their presents and we had a yummy breakfast.  However, little Camden ate too many sour worms out of his stocking and threw up all over Grandpa and the couch!  It was bad.  Then we got ready for the day and headed to Lehi to see Grandpa and Grammie, the Frosts, and the Boothes.  Then the next day all my sisters came to Lehi and we opened more presents!  We all went home that night so tired.  New Years we spent at my sisters house in Richfield.  Emy and her kids came down too!  Things were going great until Camden threw up again......we thought he'd had too much candy again but it continued into the next three days!!  Then one by one, everyone else ended up getting sick too.  Surprise!!  Let's just say we are glad the holidays are over. 

Today is Cayden's 13th Birthday!

Here are some fun things that I love about Cayden John:

1.  He has always been a sucker for the under dog.

3.  He LOVES his little brothers (even when they are annoying).

4.  He is witty and sarcastic.

5.  That kid is as smart as they come....he just chooses the free and easy road.

6.  He is pretty dang good lookin'.

7.  He is respectful and kind.

8.  He wants to do something "BIG" with his life.

9.  He's tenderhearted.

10. Cayden is my first born son, my best buddy, my life!
