The Coolest Pa Ever...

 

This is my 74 year old grandpa...

on his new Harley Davidson motorcycle!!

He is, without a doubt, the coolest Pa a girl could ask for!

Pool Time!

Brady and I decided to go to the pool today at Johnny's parents' house, so we invited Grammie and Madi to go with us to have some fun.

Brady loved the water...but probably not as much as Madi! She is definitely a water-dog!

Brady had his own pool to play in...he stayed cool in his kiddie pool!

I bought Madi a float/life jacket to wear...she wasn't so sure about it at first...

But it didn't take long for me to help her understand she wouldn't go underwater and could do it herself!

Sadie came by to see what was going on...she enjoyed watching from a safe, shady spot.

Brady loved his float with the canopy over the top...he is such a cutie!

After Madi figured out she could swim on her own...she was little Miss Independent and was all over the pool! I had so much fun with her in the pool!

Brady wasn't so sure about the hair all over Grandpa John...

so he grabbed a handful of it and pulled really hard to see what happened!

I put Brady's sunglasses on him....they lasted exactly 2 seconds after this picture was taken!

Brady Boy is 10 Months

My Brady boy is 10 months old today...

he is getting so big!

He has such a sweet personality...

he is my pride and joy!!!

We attempted a photo shoot in Pa's garden among the corn...

but Brady was too interested in eating the dirt to cooperate!

He is all boy!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



Memorial Day

We had dinner at Grammie & Poppie's house today for Memorial Day.

Since Tandi just celebrated her birthday, she got to pick the menu...

pinto beans, cornbread, turnip greens, mashed potatoes, fried cabbage...

and watermelon for dessert!

 

Tandi put Sadie & her playmat on top of the coffee table to get out of Brady boy's reach...

but he fooled her! He just wanted to see what Sadie bug was doing!

 

What?? I'm just trying to get to Sadie!!

Sunday Evening R&R

We spent the evening relaxing on Pa and Mam-Maw's front porch...

there's nothing like the time spent on that porch with family...

one of my favorite parts of summer!

 

Brady & Pa back from a four-wheeler ride...you have to pry him off when the ride is over!

We thought Kiptyn was going to take a few steps walking, but seconds later he dropped to his knees.

Bath Time Buddies ~ Part 2

Once again, we were at Grammie and Poppie's house at bath time.

As we were getting our stuff together to leave, Grammie was telling Madi that it was time for her bath and to tell us bye.

 Madi said (with a distressed look on her face), "I need Brady to take a bath with me!"

It was so sweet that I couldn't resist.

Luckily I had a sleeper in the van for him so he got a bath with Madi again.
