Kept losing one...

A few cute singles at the end. We had a wonderful Easter weekend. Dinner with Jake and Celeste and the cousins. A backyard Easter egg hunt and BBQ steaks were the highlights. We spent Saturday night watching the 10 commandments, we also prepared for Easter throughout the week with scripture stories and service projects. We are settling into our life in Texas, we have made friends and love living near our family. Happy Easter!

Home Sweet Home

So this is it! Our new crib. It's 4000 sq. ft., 6 bedrooms, and 4 baths. The neighborhood has 25 miles of walking and biking trails, 2 elementary schools and 2 community pools. We close January 4th.

First Day of School

The kids started at their new school! They both did great on their first day. We had encouraged them to set a goal of talking to at least 5 people. Tyler jumped in the car after school and said, "Mom, I WAY passed your goal of 5 people." Chloe also had several very nice girls ask her to sit with them a lunch and play on recess. School starts at 7:57 and we currently live 27 minutes from school because we are in temporary housing, but we'll close on our house on January 3rd, then the kids will be able to ride their bikes to school because it's right in the neighborhood!

Another fun thing...we found out on Friday that Chloe's new friend in her class and Tyler's new friend in his class, are siblings too!...could it be possible they're lds? That would just be too amazing so I won't count on that, but can't wait to meet their parents and tell them their kids were so great to befriend mine....

Thanksgiving Fun!

It was a great distraction to arrive in Texas the week of Thanksgiving. There were lots of cousins, 14 to be exact, 9 Adults, and 2 grandparents. A few of the highlights were
*cousin sleepovers
*Seeing the movie "Tangled"
*Yummy Thanksgiving dinner and desserts prepared by many amazing women
*Shopping with said amazing women
*Six Flags (we bought season passes!)
