Little Troy's Heart

Our family has had a wonderful Valentine's Day. Little Troy went to the cardiologist for his follow-up appointment and echo cardiogram. We received miraculous news...all of the holes in his heart are gone! It is amazing to think that just a few short months ago, while in utero, the doctors were not sure that he would make it. We have seen miracle after miracle. We want to thank everyone, wishing that we could do it personally, for your love and prayers. Heavenly Father hears and answers prayers. And yes...all trials will not just go away but He and His Son are always there to bear the burden and to lift us. We are truly blessed to have faith and understanding...and to have this sweetheart of a boy! Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!!

The Ride

I am truly grateful for the ride.

Sweet Miriam

Last week for Family Home Evening we talked about eternal families. I asked Miriam, our sweet three year old, why we would want a forever family. She made me cry when she quickly responded, "Because I love you."

Thanksgiving Pie

At dinner we discussed what type of pie to have for Thanksgiving. We all gave suggestions of blueberry, apple, pumpkin and pecan. Then Miriam said, "I want a cow pie like Daddy wants!" :) We asked her if she said cow pie and she again exclaimed, "Yeah, a cow pie!" Okay, we tried not to laugh with her seeing but that was too funny.
