New Hair, New Me!

I have been toying with the idea of getting my hair professionally straightened for quite some time.  I finally asked my sister in-law, Camilla, if she would be willing to do it for me.  (She has her hair license.)  She agreed before she knew what she was in for. :)  I have super thick, curly, crazy hair and it only took 5 1/2 hours to get all done! ha!  And that was with my mother in-law's help. 

 I didn't take a before picture, before we washed it, but we all know what my hair usually looks like.

 And this was after the cut and a few highlights.  I am in love with my new hair.  I no longer have to wash it every day and I love having straight hair.
It should last for 8-12 weeks.  My hair is still pretty curly after I shower, so I can wear curly if I want.  But the curls are no where near was curly as they used to be. 

February 2013

I have a few friends that do monthly updates.  I think it is a good idea and since my blog books start over every February (our anniversary) now is a good time to start.  So here goes!

February was a slightly busy month.  It is the month of Valentines Day (obviously) and our anniversary, 2 days later. 
~This year was our big 5 year anniversary!
~We had some warm weather days and enjoyed a few days at the park.
~Kennedy got to hang out with us for 3 whole days!
~Camilla and I drove to Utah to surprise our families with a visit!  We were there for 4 days, it was      a lot of fun!  
~Addy is loving both of her preschools and has so much fun she never wants to leave.
~Addy is reading a lot.  She will sit down with a book and just sound out the words.
~Addelyn does 100 piece puzzles like it ain't no thing.
~She is loving having her cousin, Kennedy, around to play with all the time.
