Soldier Hollow

We went with the JDRF to Soldier Hollow this week for a Tubing Adventure. It was so much

more then we were planning on! They served a chili dinner and had a two hour block for tubing. The hill was 1200 feet long and there were 6 lanes, but the best part was the tow rope to pull you up! Talk about taking all of the work out of it! Apparently it was the best day of Parker's life. Ever. We already can't wait until next year!

Happy Birthday Parker!

For Parker's 8th birthday of course he had to have Transformers! That seems to be his thing right now. (You should see his Christmas list!) He had some friends over and we went to the movie "Ice Age 2" which was fun. Of course with turning 8 comes the long-awaited baptism. His cousin Dallin came and they had their baptism together. It was great for them to be able to share that day with each other!

Gone Fishin

For Parker's first Cub Scout activity we went fishing at a local pond. He caught a couple of small fish, but Jerika caught this giant catfish. It was so gross. Sydney and Camryn even caught a little one. They had fun, even though we wouldn't let them keep any of their fish.

Bees Game

We went to the Labor Day Bees game with our friends the Fosters. Tysen couldn't wait to get there, and then he and I ended up playing at the playground. Woohoo? Everyone else had fun, though, so that is what counts, right?

Car Show

We went to a Car Show that benefited Shriner's Hospital. The boys loved the cars, and some of the owners even let them sit in and on a couple of them. They asked them to pick some of the winners, and this black one is what Parker picked. His catagory was "Car I Want When I Grow Up" Good choice!

This "Monster Truck Car" was another favorite!

Camping Trip

Our annual campout to Upper Stillwater:

We hiked up to the top of the dam and the men tried to fish, but too many kids were throwing too many rocks in the water. oops!

Parker's First Fish- he was so excited!!

We spent the days hanging out around the fire, riding bikes, and goofing off!

Downtown

When Trav's parents came up for the Temple Open House, we took Haylee downtown. I had never been on top of the Conference Center before. It was pretty cool!
