.........................................I don't know about that!! The last 3 years have been crap...and to welcome 2012 with open arms seems overwhelmingly to risky. Instead I will s l o w l y slip into 2012, and wait to see if it brings good cheers instead of sad sad tears.

So what will it be?

Smart move...

The other day while at E's class, the teacher was saying what they would be doing for the next class activity. Frosting cookies! So I went ahead and asked if I could help, bring anything...cookies... she was all over that idea.... so cookies it was that I was to bring. Well, looking up recipes for sugar cookies, and knowing I have my Grandmas sugar cookie recipe, I thought "why not call Harmons, and see if they make them, and how much they would charge." I did, and as a smart Mom would do.... I ordered a couple dozen! So no adding to my messy kitchen, that I will be having to clean up soon....and no stressing out when they don't turn out the way I think they should turn out! Just simply pick up the already made cookies, and take them to the class party! :]

E's ride into freedom!

So E decided that he wanted to ride his bike without training wheels! I think that we were all blown away with just how FAST this kid learned!! You would think that I was crazy if I said it only took him a few passes... and he was off! Like he was pro or something! He is going to make one heck of a mtn. biker! And scare the heck out of me!! But he seriously was awesome at it.. like a duck to water :] Way to go E!!!

Happy 18th!

Happy 18th anniversary to my sweetie!! I love you more and more every day! Well there are those few in between days that I would like to knock you upside the head... but I would do it very lovingly ;] You seriously are my rock... thanks for the support you have given me over the years, and esp. these last two very trying years. I love you with all my heart!!! May we grow old together... and swap teeth! Love you!! xoxoxo

Spring Break

It was on the cold side for spring break, and since we didn't go anywhere out of town, we opted to go to "the beach" The kids had fun, and we enjoyed what warmth and sun we had... but it still was COLD!

We had a nice week with Uncle Check... We sure do love when he visits! Just wish it was more often, or better yet, that he would move down here!!! :]

Clean

This word NEVER last last long as I would like it to! My house is a DISASTER! The girls room has its own "dump" area. The guest/craft room/office looks like... crap. The front room is littered with E's toys and snacks, the kids bathroom isn't finished... and that bugs me because its something I cant do myself, I have to wait for help of my hubby. The kitchen is a mess... I don't think the girls understand the idea of cleaning the kitchen. Ok.. I think that is all of my gripes on the word clean.

So here are some ups for today...
E and I were able to plant some bell peppers and flowers in our indoor greenhouse. I was also able to plant some squashes, and cucumbers. I did clean out the garage, and got most of the Christmas stuff put up. Its not clean.. nor does it feel that way to me. Its an organized mess is what it is. The bottles that I ended up storing from my Dads collection, dang near takes up half a bay. I'm not sure how to get rid of them, and I don't think my two brothers care to have their share. lol. *sigh* ok that was a step back wasn't it.....

Anyhow, while I am doing, its not enough to make me feel satisfied, and I don't know how to achieve that feeling of complete. I'm sure it is a reflection of how I feel inside at the moment... I feel good, and then it hits and I feel mixed up... I have to say though, I haven't had ANY medication since Dec. 24th of 2010. Its been a struggle, but I have gotten help from a dear friend of mine from when we were kids. Its been good! I have been able to think through my feelings and figure out why things made me react or feel a certain way, and then move forward from there. I feel that I have become a more relaxed person, more of the time! WOOHOO! So I guess I better go think why I am feeling dissatisfied/unorganized. That way I can come up with a solution and feel better!

Hello Sunshine!

This past week I was able to get outside and work in the yard! Can I just say how enjoyable it was to be outside!! The Sun was warm, but not too warm... the birds singing... It was enjoyable to be out there pulling weeds, getting the garden prepped, and today, planting the peas!! Tomatoes, squash and maybe some bell peppers and cucumbers to come in the following weeks. I'm so happy to be looking forward to our garden!

Next will be flowers! I asked, well maybe more less informed Doug that I get to do the flowers out front this year! He has done them for the last 3 years, and they have been great! I'm just now to that point where I feel good enough to have some fun creating beauty! :D So look out for some pretty flowers :D He still is in charge of the greening of the grass... but I think this year I will be happy to help mow it :D heehee

We were able to get the sandbox refilled... after the cats, including the neighborhood cats, made it their cat box (even through what was suppose to keep them out!) We will be putting a wood surface over the top so there is no way for them to do their business in the sand box!
The kids are loving the sandbox, again! Speaking of sand boxes.. I think we will be heading to the river over these next two seasons. The last flooding sure brought in a lot of sand! E calls it the "beach" He always asks if we can go to the beach. :] That is one vacation I can afford ;] So to the beach it is!! :D


Simple things in life is what make you smile the most! I have to remember that! :D Hope you enjoy your day!! xoxoxo

Thinking out "blog"...

I think I have come to a decision, all pictures that I take are going to be for the mere enjoyment of my life. Most of which will be what I see, and have fell in love with.
"People" taking pictures is not for me, or I should say... making money at taking pictures of people is not my thing. To many i's to dot and t's to cross. I don't feel it allows my creative side to be free to run! While nature pictures to me is endless... kinda like a Forest Gump moment.. "Run forest run". There are no i's or t's, because there are no expectations, only mine.

Now time to time I'm sure I will give in and take photos of close friends and family.... but I will stick to my nature :] And to my day to day pictures of life, my family :]

I hope to do more blogging of life... return to this as a diary... what I can share ;] To regain life, and enjoy the peace that is within. Its been a long two years... and I think I have had enough time of wallowing in those two years... time to pick up my flip flops when I walk... and enjoy life!!

I'm so excited to see the tree's popping out their "popcorn"!! Spring is almost here! That means a garden to get planted, a yard to green up and plant flowers... BIRDS!! to sing and baby birds to follow :]

Renew.. That's what I hope to do!
