Mud Run 8/18/2012

After completing my first dirty dash back in June, the kids have been begging me to do a kid mud run.  Finally, I found this free mud run in Farmington last month.  Yeah for Mom!

I love his long hair.  This picture was taken quite awhile ago.  But, I just got around to editing and picking some favorites.  I love the bright yellow door on the train and his red jacket.  It makes for a great contrast of bright and bold colors.

Brigham City Temple Open House

 

 

 

We had an unique opportunity to take Stephen (from Kenya) to the temple open house with us.  He is close to Elder and Sister Pugmire, who are currently serving in Kenya.  It was his first time in America and he loves a good Wendy's Frosty!  Who doesn't?  We had a great time getting to know him and learned a lot.  He speaks many languages, and has lots of questions.  Did you know the  Marathon runners from Kenya are really from one tribe in Kenya?  Not all Kenyans are runners. (I think there are 48 tribes in Kenya).  Stephen comes from the tribe known for their carving.  You should see his creations. ( I'll post pictures later) Fascinating.
