Summer's 1st Birthday Party.

To me Summer's 1st Birthday was a total hit! It was the first party I have planned for a child of mine and I loved every minute of it. We had just our family there at my parents. I had big hopes of getting good pictures of Summer opening presents and eating her first cake, so we did presents and cake first. She did great with gifts, because Derek helped her. She really didn't open the presents very well by herself. The cake on the other hand. She dived right in and would not let us take it away. She was eating handfuls of the cake and I just love it. Papa Kent put together a roller coaster that Summer and Hudson rode on and thought was really neat. Then we ate lunch, played kickball and called it a night with the party. It was a very fun ,but simple first birthday party!

Christmas 2013

This year was a fun, but busy Christmas. This was Summer's first Christmas. We slept at Nana and Papa's house. Then we woke up and saw what Santa brought Summer. We ate the traditional Cinnamon rolls for breakfast then we were getting ready to go to Brandy and Andrew's house. We kept Summer in her Christmas Jammies because we knew it was an hour and a half drive. . We got to Brandy and Andrew's and had brunch and presents with Derek's mom's side of the family. Then around 4pm we went to Grandpa Larry's house to eat a ham dinner and open presents from Derek's dad's side. Christmas was good this year. Derek was super sweet and took me a couple of weeks before Christmas to Bare Minerals and had someone do my make-up and then bought me all of the make-up for my present. Derek  got a new 3 wood for golf and 3 new hats. Summer got....Disney princess castle, dolls, balls,learning dog, Minnie tent & lots of other toys. Derek and I got Summer a bouncy pig.

Christmas was a lot of fun, but it really makes me excited to someday have a house of our own and invite everyone to our place. I hope that is something that can happen within the next couple of years.

Las Vegas 2013

This weekend we went to Vegas to visit with Grandma Robin and Grandpa Rick. It was a fun weekend so far. We went to Caesar's Palace and saw the Aquarium. We went to Belligio and watched the water show and hung out with cousins. It has been a good weekend thus far.
