Fourth of July!

So my friend Jesse, whom I know from home, invited me to go with a bunch of people to Idaho Falls (closest thing to a city, about 20 minutes away from Rexburg) to see the Melaluca Fireworks show. I obliged since ALL of my roommates are outta town and it beat staying home watching movies by myself. So, the evening progressed and the fireworks started at around 9:40ish, just as the sun was setting and I recorded THE ENTIRE SHOW. Just a little over 30 minutes!! And during the show everyone turns their radios to a certain station and was all the music that was intended for the show! Like the American songs. So cool! Well worth the 4 hour wait while we sat and played card games, guesstures, and pit, which was also very fun.

Projects for my Healthcare Communications Class...

Ok, so being the perfect, over-achiever, humble student that I am I have these projects due in July that I got done early so I could have a head start on my final project for the class. We have to promote a health topic for campus and I chose walking, tell me what you think.

Friday Nights & Laundry when you're ancient...

So...since my roommates and myself are what BYU-I would call ancient considering we're all over the age of 19......we don't do much on the weekends except homework, play board/card games, and...LAUNDRY. Let me tell you how fantastic it is to do your laundry using 4 washing and drying machine....

It goes by RIDICULOUSLY FAST. AND it has a timer so I know exactly how much time I have before I move or remove them from the machine. It is absolutely wonderful.

Anyways...I know Mom is probably thinking I just throw it in and then wad it up into my drawers. HOWEVER that is entirely false my dear sweet mother of mine...
I tell you this because I have proof!!! See below...

The Start of a New Chapter...

Here is just a quick starting blog. I had originally planned to do this but then changed my mind to not, but then Kristene said she wanted to know what was going on and exchanged a recipe for my agreement to start a blog!

I tried to make a video tour of my apartment but it won't upload! I've been at it for over an hour and it just will not upload. We have really bad internet connection in my apartment. :/

I love my roommates. They are so fantastic. My ROOM roommate, is Tiffany, she is 22, she just turned 22 on April 14th! She is from Montana. She is a Communications Major and will be graduating in December. Then there is Diana who is 23 and is from Utah. She is an Elementary Education Major with a Social Studies Composite she will most likely graduate in December as well. Then Whitney, she is from Colorado, she is also 22, she just turned 22 on April 15th too ! We all feel so OLD!!! LOL. Whitney is also an Elementary Education Major with a Social Studies Composite. Then there is Emily, she is 20 and she is from Colorado too. And like Whit and Diana, she is an Elementary Education Major. My roommates are awesome. We all get along pretty well.
