Double Digits

I can not believe Mercedes is 10! I must be way old to have a child in the double digits. No comments please! Sades is an amazing girl. She has the complete package, she is super smart and awesome at school, she is athletic and can dance and play a mean game of softball, and she is absolutely beautiful. She is spunky and keeps me on my toes. She is fashionable and a great friend. She is an extremely wonderful big sister, most of the time. We are so happy we have her in our lives! Happy Birthday, Mercedes! You are fetch and the bomb.com!!!

I had to put in this picture, because he always does this. There is always some part of Coltrin in the middle of a good pic. Good thing he is a cutie!

Forget about presents for these two. Some paper and some boxes to smash up are all they need!

Look What Coltrin Can Do! Woohoo!

I don't think Megan and Ryan will notice the dents. They are probably at fault since they are parked on the road. I mean a culdasac is for riding bikes and not for parking, right?!!

Who knew, that just a few little pushes, and off he would go. Before we knew it, Coltrin, was a pro and riding along with Matty. He was the big man in the culdasac! Way to go Coltrin! Your the dude!!!!

Grump's 65th Birthday

Happy Birthday Grump! We love you and think you are wonderful. What would the kids do if you weren't here to tease them. My dad is an amazing person. He has a gruff outside, but under all of that he has a genuine heart of gold. He is a sweetie and does so much for the kids and me. Thanks for all the memories!!

Srping Break 2010 in "Snowsquite"

This year we took a little trip down to Mesquite or as Coltrin would say, "Snowsquite". Our trip started off wonderfully. Adley decided to puke in the car a few times, which triggered Sades to barf and ended up with me riding in the back of the car squished by two car seats. We stopped off at a rest stop, unloaded a ton of stuff to get Adley some clean clothes, let Sades barf in the parking lot, and grab a breath of fresh air. We finally got to the condo put things away and of course, I did laundry. Wait, didn't I say this was a vacation! We went shopping in St. George and the gang ate Brick Oven, while Sades and I went shopping. We didn't want a replay of the trip down, with Saders gag reflex and all. We got some way cute stuff, and thought everyone left us because of a cell phone malfunction. We played games and watched movies, played at the park, swam and just enjoyed each others company. I think we have a new tradition! This where we Mark and I got to sleep. We were thrilled with our little sanctuary in the loft.

We hung out at this beautiful park all afternoon. The kids and guys played basketball, played on the playground, and Coltrin loved climbing the cliffs.

This is how the kiddos fell asleep every night. They played on their Ds's until they just passed out somewhere in the living room. Too funny!

Wow! What a gang! It was a perfect vacation with two wonderful families. It couldn't have been any better.

Fun at the pool! Only if you want to freeze your butt off. The first day we went to swim, the heater wasn't working and it was brr cold! We hung out in the hot tub. The kids didn't care, they just loved being in the water.

Easter at Grump and Grands

We had some fun at Grump & Grands. We had an Easter egg hunt, roasted marshmallows, and just hang out with the fam! Grandma always makes yummy food, including her famous potato salad that always makes mom sick. Happy Easter everyone!!!!

Is it Christmas or Easter? Who is in charge here? Just a few thoughts we had when we woke up to the Easter Bunnies surprise this morning! The kids dove into the treats, toys and of course matching outfits with shoes and sunglasses!
