Mama Bear Gets A Vacation!!!

St. Thomas meet Mama Schiffman! Yes it's true, we are going on vacation without our kids!!! Next Friday the 8th Clint and I leave for St. Thomas! I'm so excited I can't stand it! I have all sorts of anxiety about leaving our kids, but the family they are staying with will take great care of them. Madden asks me everyday when we are leaving so he can go stay with his cousins. They will have fun! Meanwhile I will be sitting on the beach, watching Clint act like he is David Hasselhoff, and letting my muffin top breath!! I can't possibly have the worst body on the beach! (Can I?) We'll see. Here's some pics that have nothing to do with the subject but they are cute!

29 and Super Excited!!!

Yesterday was my 29th b-day! This is it-the last year of my 20's! The last year I'm going to be an honest women, because from 30 on I will lie about my age! I didn't think I would ever be one to care about age, but it turns out I do! What do you know! The day was great! Clint surprised me and took the day off and we went to Park City. It was really fun! Although I definitely noticed some new spots on my skin, sagging and wrinkling under my eyes, and a few extra hairs on my upper lip! (Like I can afford to have anymore hair on my upper lip) I wanted to do something I would remember on my 29th b-day. Piercing or ta too was out of the question!?*# my stomach skin looks like male genitalia(for all you gals that are on your 2nd or 3rd kid you know what I'm talkin' about)and a tatoo can you imagine! What would I get? The word "MOM" across my lower back as if the stretch marks don't give that away! So for now I'll just have to have the pics to remember the last birthday of my 20's!

I love the month of July!!

July is the best! Fireworks, blazin' hot temperatures, and two for the funniest little Aborigines this side of the Serengetti! Madden is the tannest kid I know! He looks like Mowgli off The Jungle Book with blonde hair. The funny thing is I have started calling him that and he answers to it. Anybody who knows me knows I have about 2000 nick names for my kids and they are so off the wall! A few of Madden's include Bubba, Leggs (yah, i know what the hell), and now Mowgli. Ayden's are even more ridiculas. We'll start with Sister(what are we pilgrams), Booda, and Lenny. For those of you that have read the book or seen the movie "Of Mice and Men" that is where "Lenny" came from. He is a mentally disabled man who loves the bunnies so much that he squeezes them to death. I know sounds kinda morbid, but she honestly goes nuts over babies and small animals. She has so much love to share! Anyways I love summer, Mowgli, and Lenny.

The weekend continued! Happy B-day Bubba!

So Monday was Madden's 5th b-day!!! Look at this kid ;he's a riot! He thinks he just turned 29 I swear! Well those are his new pride and joy. His very own set of clubs and don't forget the golf glove that he wheres everywhere. We went and hit a bucket of balls then hit the Burger Bar.(yes, where I proceeded to eat a entire cheese "Ben" by myself) Ok who are we kidding I can do that any day of the week. Anyways, then went swimming with his cousins at North Shore. After had a little b-day party at the house. He sleeps with his driver so I think he had a good birthday!

WHAT A FUN WEEKEND!

This weekend was real fun. Clint's 29th b-day was on Friday so we started celebrating on Thursday night. Him and I went to Lagoon just the two of us. We held hands, kissed in Dracula's Castle; I felt so young. We thought about doin' "it" in the back seat, but then looked back at the car seats and decided it wasn't worth taking them out. Friday we went to the Gateway. We shopped, ate, and let the kids play in the fountain. I wish so bad I could get the video to upload! Madden was running around all the sudden stops and puts his bottom directly over one of the water jets. He sat there for at least a good minute letting the water violate him. Honestly who raised this kid. Anyways that night we went to dinner at The Oaks with our families. He said it was his best b-day ever so mission complete.
