May adventures...

We had lots of fun this May! May 1st is Labor Day in Croatia and as usually we went to the sea and stayed there for a week. Weather was not very good but we still enjoyed our stay in Tisno. Toni's parents own a house in Tisno and we just loooove being there. When we came back my cousin got Confirmed and I was her sponsor. A week after that my Sister-in-law's son Viktor got Baptised and tomorrow Ante will celebrate his first birthday. We have been partying a lot! I am going back to work on Monday and that is when the all the partying ends. I wish I could stay home with my boy at least until he turns 18! ;-) We got a chance to spend some time with Klara and her parents. Her father took some great pictures I would like to share with you. Days around Easter...

On Saturday we coloured eggs and enjoyed being home all together. On Sunday we had breakfast at home and lunch at Toni's parents. Later in the afternoon we went to my parents. It is great that we are only 15 minutes away from our parents and we get to see them very often. Ante loves being outside and when we go to them he is outside almost the whole day now when the weather is great.

Klara and Ante...

We finally have nice and warm weather here in Croatia. Today we went for a walk with our little friend Klara and her mom Mihaela. We couldn't go out for a week because Ante had roseola, but he is finally healthy. For three days he had really high fever and then three days of rash. Good think is that when kids have roseola they are in a good mood even with high fever and that is how Ante was. He is making his first steps and today we will go and buy him his first walking shoes. I am sooooo proud of him and excited about getting his first "real" shoes!

October 12, 2008...

We finally got our CD with pictures of Ante's Baptism. I will post some of my favourite pictures. In one way it is good that we got this CD now because in our minds we went back and remembered what a great day we had, and how proud of our boy we were!

Some news and pictures...

Since my last post, Ante got another three teeth! I can't belive how fast he got his last three teeth. On Sunday night he got fever, but that lasted only for two days with no other simptoms. Now he is back! On January 20th, my sister in law gave birth to her another son. His name is Viktor and he is soooo cute. Now when I look at him it seams that Ante was that little years ago and not only eight monhts ago. Ante started crawling and now nothing can stop him, he can get whatever he wants.

Yesterday I passed my last college exam! I still can't belive that after all this years it is finally over.

This Saturday, on Valentine's day, Toni's best men is getting married and for the first time I will not be with my baby during the night. My parent's will come to take care of him. I am sure everything will be allright, but it is hard to imagine being without him for one night.

Tooth searching and style changing...

On Saturday night Toni rubbed Ante's gums and realized our boy got his third tooth. We are so excited about these things! Friday night he couldn't sleep very well and I tought the tooth might be the problem, which it was and now Ante is proud owner of his three teeth.
I decided to make a change on myself and on Friday I cut my hair! Now my hair is pretty short but I really like it. When I came home from the salon Toni said that he likes my hair what was unusual because I always have to ask him what does he think. That is why I think he really likes it. I don't know why it is so hard to figure out what he thinks sometimes. Ante also noticed that I look different. He was looking at my hair and trying to reach it but very gently. He is usually such a gentle baby. He likes to touch my face with his little hands and he never scratched me so far. Instead of writing this post I should be studying while he is asleep because I have two exams in February and I don't think I am ready yet. That is why this is all from me now...
P.S. I don't know why this spell checking tool doesn't work because it stops me from writing something that doesn't make too much sense. So, please excuse my mistakes!

Happy holidays...

First of all I would like to wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I can't beleive that one month passed since I wrote a post last time. In December we spent some time at Toni's parent's house while they were at the sea. On December 10th Ante's first tooth came out! A few days ago we found out he got another one and we haven't even noticed! Last week he was a little bit ill, but that didn't last too long. On December 24th he turned seven months (already!). He can sit by himself and he claps his hands when I sing a song. He also tries to wave when I say bye, bye. Everyday he shows something new that he learned!
