The other day John came in and told me that the guy who owns the house next door (he rents it out) had a company come and spray for weeds. They sprayed around our tree that is out by the corner of the patio. You can see how everything is dead around the tree. We are hoping that our tree does not die also. I decided to take some pictures and post them every few days or so. That way if the tree dies we have the documentation. John said that some of the leaves were drying up and dying. With the wind blowing so hard today it is hard to see the yellow leaves. We are really watering hoping that the tree will live.
We had a central camping area where we all met to visit, eat or sit around the campfire at night.
We visited the wildlife museum. This was my favorite scene. All the animals are displayed in their natural habitats. They have hundreds of animals (stuffed, of course) and cases full of all kinds of butterflies, bugs and spiders.
Outside the kids were able to feed live deer. At first Sydnee was just throwing the corn in for the deer to get, but she finally got the hang of holding it in her hand and letting the deer eat it from her hand.
Hunter and Lathan had fun feeding them too.
Bev brought the candy jars. After the candy jars were handed out we ate Paul's delicious barbeque ribs for dinner. We also had chicken, beans, salad and corn. It was all really good. After dinner we had our white elephant gift exchange.
Sydnee loved spending time walking and playing with Diego (Judy's dog). There was a swimming pool at the camp area and also at the Lodge where everyone went swimming. We went shopping at the Lodge. We had supper on Thursday night at the Lodge also. Sunday morning John, Terra and I and the kids went to church in Panguitch before driving home. It was a great reunion. We have decided to wait two years for our next reunion.

Being "attacked" by wildlife. We all had a great time at Moon Lake.
This is the two bed cabin that John and I stayed in. The cabins were interesting. They have a little kitchen with a gas oven and a full size refrigerator. The bathroom had a flushing toilet and a shower. It was pretty gross looking with a cement floor. One half of the cabin looked like it had dropped a little and if you did not watch your step you would trip going to the sink to wash your hands. There were two beds in this cabin. They were not that comfortable to sleep on, but better than a tent and sleeping on the ground.
The first night we cooked hot dog over the fire. There was a nice fire pit at each cabin.
Austin brought her raft. The kids liked taking rides in it. I even got in and went for a ride. The water was pretty cold, but that didn't stop the kids from getting in it.
Big brother Dax could hardly wait to hold his new little brother.
Kiya took her turn too, with a little help from Grandma Karen.
