We enjoyed a quiet Christmas at home!  My parents stopped in Christmas morning to watch the kids open presents.  After the left the kids spent all day playing with all their new stuff and trying to snitch a chance at what the others got too!

Everyone meet X-Ray!!!
I know you all think I am nuts if you know me at all! I already had two dogs. But we got a phone call on a Sunday night and they were looking for a home for this 4 month old Chocolate Lab! They told us that they were on the way to the Shelter, they didn't have any luck finding her a home. Well, if you know how big my heart is when it comes to dogs, you will understand why I looked up at Lindsay with my big pouty blue eyes, and said, " I know you have always wanted a chocolate lab. We can 't let her go to the shelter." Lindsay said ok we can look at her and see

what kind of dog she is. Well needless to stay she melted both our hearts and has become a permanent fixture in our home! She came with the name Abigail, but we wanted to rename her and make her part of our family. So we asked the kids waht they wanted to name her and we came up with many different ones, but Taggart suggested X-Ray and we all went that's the one!
So her name is X-ray! She has made my days alone while the kids are in school, not so boring! With a 6 month old puppy in the house I have been rather busy! I love it though! She is turning out to be an AMAZING dog! Thank you! Honey for letting me keep her!!!

Before I Get Started....

I am here, and alive!! Amazing I know, considering it takes me 3 months at a time to get things together to post! I am going to be posting a number of different things. I am going to start back aways! I hope you all enjoy catching up on our crazy lives!!!

Our family of jack o' laterns

The kids and I careved pumpkins together this afternoon. Madison made her pumpkin sad, because she told me he didn't have any friends. The kids and a really good time digging the guts our of there pumpkins.

This is Taggarts pumpkin he wanted it to look scary so it would scare the bad guys away!

Kiley's pumpkin she drew her face and Lin carved it for her, she is quite the little artist these days.

Hunter's pumpkin he drew his own face too, man that kid loves details! Those details were hard to carve, but I accomplished it!

Here they are in all there glory, sitting on our porch! Mine is the one with the spider, I am so proud of it, I figured I would try something new this year, and I think it looks great! Lin's is the one that can't stand up very straight and the top of the stairs, I think he may have had to, much candy this year! We hope everyone is having as much Halloween fun as we are.
I will post pictures of the kids in there costumes later this week, they haven't had any parties yet, but that will change as soon as the week starts!

This is two of our really good friends, Sam and John Catlett, and Lin and I dressed up as well. We attended a Halloween Party last night and we won first place in the costume contest!

I'm still alive!!

I know it has been two months since I posted anything. Well let me start by saying I am not a very creative writer so I often have a hard time coming up with things to say, but also my little sister got married in September. Needless to say I was busy with that, and didn't have much time for anything else. I am going to try to post more regularly, but if I miss a day or two, bare with me I will always be back!
