Kids

 I sure love my kids! Incredibly grateful for the three of them. My life would not be complete without each of them. They are my world and are so precious to me. I hope they know how important they are to Russ and I.

Hallie

June was a fun month for Hallie! She got braces!! She went to the temple with her cousin, Zander. Walked to the gas station with her school friends. Had a fire night with her school friends as well. Went bowling with Ady and Kam. Did a soccer camp with Ura. Had a fantastic tournament with her new team and took 2nd. Continues to train with Nik.  

Stockton

 Stockton has fun doing whatever Brooks is doing. He loves acting just like the big kids. He loved playing baseball. He is naturally athletic and just good at every sport he tries. He got sick this month with a stomach bug. Surprisingly he was able to throw up in a bowl or toilet every time. I was impressed, and grateful, that our little 5 year old could do that.

Made a diy bike ramp out of a mulch bag and leftover wood for Brooks and Taco. They loved going over it on their bikes. 

Taco grinds his teeth at night. I had to get a picture of his 4 flattened front teeth. His front teeth are particularly so uneven because of it. Apparently it is a very common thing for kids to do who have a narrow airway. The dentist said he should grow out of it as he gets older and his throat gets bigger as well. They said if he isn't struggling to breathe at night then to not worry about it. I've never noticed him snore really loud or struggle to breathe at night and so I will try not to worry about it. Although that is very hard for me to do. Both Russ and I have severe PTSD from Taco's airway issues. 

Brooks

Brooks had a great last week of school starting this month and a great start to Summer! We found out he made the B All-Star baseball team. Attending practices and games without Russ being the coach was difficult for him. He had a few anxiety breakdowns going to practices without Russ or games without him. But he did it and I'm proud of him for showing up despite the nerves. He alternated between first base and pitching most games. 

He continues to love doing his reading tutoring once a week with Miss Donna. She is fantastic with him and always finds things to read that have to do with basketball. Brooks told me the other day that he wants to do Miss Donna for the rest of his life. Haha. I'm glad he likes it so much!

He LOVED his 2nd grade teacher, Miss Workman. "She is so nice" he would always say. She single-handedly made his 2nd grade experience a great one!

Brooks lost another tooth this month. He never likes losing his teeth. He immediately cries at the sight of blood but he earned another $1 from the tooth fairy. 

He loves to dunk the basketball! He says he is going to be a "professional dunker" when he grows up. He often asks me to pull over when he sees a basketball hoop at a park to "see if (he) can dunk on it." Haha!

Went swimming with some neighbor friends of his!
