Sometimes life just happens!

That's the way it's been around here for the past year or so! Lots has happened, lots is going on and there is still lots ahead of us! Stay tuned to hear more of our adventures.

God isn't through with us yet! As I sit here writing this, I am listening to a phone conversation that may just be a real God-thing! Has that ever happened to you? Have you ever listened and wondered if that really is God's voice or am I imagining it??? So, for now, I wonder. I wonder if this is the beginning of another adventure God has planned for us. Sounds like it is time to pray. Time to seek His will. Time to be still and listen!

Summer's Here!!

Laura and Jesse come home for a visit from Japan.

Lots of family is coming to visit.



And... Melissa is getting married!!
She is marrying the man of her dreams - the man God chose for her before she even knew it ... and we end up with two extra, special bonuses! Bailey and Emma :-)

Holding your breath?

I sure hope not! The holidays have come and gone, the first month of 2010 is almost gone and still no pictures! Sorry... I would like to say there is a good reason - and really there must be, but for now it is just a matter of time. Posting pics hasn't been high on the priority list BUT... it will be. I have ordered some expressions to put up in the kitchen and once they arrive and are up then I PROMISE I will post pictures!

Meanwhile we are having our second snowfall of the season and I am loving it! The big, white flakes are beautiful. I am beginning to think that I can plan on lots of snow any time MJ and OJ plan a party night! Last time they planned a Christmas party we got 21 inches :-) Tonight they have a game night planned and so far we have about 4-5 inches!

Bill's mom is scheduled for hip replacement surgery on Monday. Hopefully the weather will clear tonight and he will be able to drive over to be with Memom and his sister! Actually I am thankful for the snow so he could get an extra day of rest. He started a new job before Christmas and yesterday he completed he third week of 40+ hours! A first since probably August of 2007! PTL!

Pictures are coming...

While Bill was gone for a weekend, I rearranged the entire basement - with the help of Melissa and her friend. Bill's Monday night HS boys love it!! Then, I FINALLY repainted the kitchen. Yesterday I painted the pantry and today I am attacking our laundry area. So, soon, very soon, I will post some pictures of my accomplishments :-)
