It's been too long!!!

We have had lots of excitment in the last couple of weeks with the birth of three babies. Our friends, Andrew and Jillian, had a little boy on Friday, Nov. 14. We were able to see Tristan Owen and his big sister, Ava, last weekend. Hayden was so excited to see and play with Ava and Mackenzie, who was visiting with her parents. T.O. (as he's been called by some) is a cutie! He was so calm and didn't mind being passed around.

We also welcomed our new cousin, Karter, on Monday, Nov. 17. We can't wait to meet her and see her parents, Jeff and Kendra!

On Thursday, Nov. 20, our nephew, Reid Sullivan, was born at 7 lbs. 13 oz. He has a head full of brown hair! He joins big sister, Olivia, who is very proud! Hayden hasn't paid much attention to the new babies. He's more concerned with playing with the toys! Here's a picture of Reid with Yaya holding him. She is again a proud grandmother!

Summer fun!!

Hayden was so excited to help Rodney wash his truck! He got to hold the power washer and even use the sponge. He ended up soaking wet, but we couldn't complain since he had so much fun!




Should I use the sponge or the brush, Dad?

Hayden has also had fun swimming in the pool. He asks almost daily to swim and always wants to invite people over to go swimming with him.

New experiences

So, I've had several friends say that we need to have a blog and I'm just now creating one. I'll try to update as much as possible, but be patient!

Hayden and I went to Sea World yesterday to meet Rodney as he brought his students for a visit to San Antonio. It rained for the first two hours, but it was nice and cool for San Antonio! Hayden was at first afraid that the dolphins would bite us, but he didn't want to leave the dolphin feeding area. He then thought the Clydedale horses would bite him. He quickly got over that and was ready to explore!

We watched several of the shows - Shamu, beluga whales & dolphins, and the western-themed animal show with dogs, cats, pigs, ducks and a skunk! HM got to play in the children's area and we rode the Shamu Express roller coaster. He didn't appear to be excited on the coaster, but did try to stay on once the ride was over! He said it was so much fun!!

Hayden wanted to ride in the last car, but someone else beat us there. Can you see me in the second to last car? So much for seeing him!

I think the best was the last show of the night - Shamu Rocks Texas! It is amazing to see these huge whales jump and flip in the air. I loved watching HM's face as the show was going on. He was so tired by the end of the day that he fell asleep as we were driving out of the parking lot!

Since I used a waterproof disposable camera, I'll add pictures once they have been developed. (So the pictures didn't turn out as well as my digitals, but we still have some!)

I think he was ready to be home! He kept saying that he missed his Daddy!

What time of day am I?

I saw this on a friend's blog and wondered what time of day I would be. Interesting! I guess this is true at this point since I'm on vacation!
