Bathroom

I redecorated our Hall bathroom with weekend. I am very happy with the way it all turned out, its still fun for the kids but elegant for guests. I'll post pictures soon. Ignore the counter tops, they will hopefully be changed this spring. Yea for tax returns, it all goes back into the house.

Graduation!!!

Shaun Graduated from BYU-I on Friday night!!!

After many years, test, papers, and late nights he has his

Bachelors Degree!!

His Major was in CIT.....

and a Minor in History!

He'll take a year off and start on his Masters in 2011, the year before the end of the world:)

I am so proud of him, and his kids will always know how important an education is!!

Private

By the way I went private again, and will stay this way from now on. So check it every once in awhile because private blogs don't show new post lines.

Snowflakes

Today we had a preschool/meeting for the kids and moms. We planned out the next quarter while the kids played and frosted cookies. Than we cut and decorated snowflakes to take to a Retirement Home in our ward. I had forgotten how to make a good snowflake, they're fun once you remember how to fold the paper and where to cut the shapes....i think I'll have to do some with my kids for the front windows. Now if only it would snow here it would be warmer!!! So DARN COLD!!!

I was on my friend Amanda's blog tonight and she had some cute things on it, and these were two of the things she wants to make for her girls, and I may do them soon.

There is nothing to do!????

Taylor is home for the next 5 days, at 8:30 this morning she told me "There is nothing to do" my response is you can clean your room, do homework, dust the tables and shelves in the living room, I really could go on. She didn't want to do house work, who does.

So now I have all my dining chairs and barstools in the front room with a sheet over it, yes I had to build a fort. First day home and all ready board!!! Any fun ideas to do with my kids, that wont take up the entire house? They won't go outside because its to cold and there is snow.

I want to be a kid today!!! No list of chores to get done, and lay on the floor in a fort watching movies, Ahhh the life.

House updates

Shaun has started update some of the "70's" fixtures in our house..

We plan on getting this ugly fan out of the dining room next.

Not sure if we'll put a pretty one in or do a pendant.

Doctor's

I have been to three Doctor's just this week, and go again next week. I am so,so, so sick of needles, blood, and and now having my eyes pried open for nearly 2 hours.

On Monday I went to my Primary Doctor, he referred me to a Gladular Specialist, who than wanted me to go to an Opthamologest. I had a total of 6 hours of pricks and other test done to tell me what I all ready knew. " you're quite an interesting patient." I go in again next week to go over all the test and I pray for a change in my meds.... Have I mentioned how much I hate having a brain tumor, and to find out there are more problems to come before I feel better.

There will be an end to all this, just not anytime soon.

When in the woods???

I think this is a cute picture of Trevor...but when Shaun looks at it he thinks our little man is "taking care of business" out in the woods... men and woman are different!!

....and he's off!

Eli just started really walking last week. Up until than he would do it only at home around the furniture. One day I realized he was falling only to his left, so took him to the doctor and found out he had an inner ear infection. That has now cleared up and he off!!!

A month or so ago Eli was bugging Shaun, so he dumped out the bucket of toys and put my poor baby in it. He didn't like it than, but now he thinks its a fun challenge to get in it by himself...this was taken one night I was trying to get all the kids in the bath, and he ran to his room....love this little guy!

Busy and Lonely days

Shaun has been working A LOT again this week, the other night/early morning he asked me if this new job at the University was worth it. Honestly we both ask ourselves that at least once a week!

Trevor started Pre school this week, and loves it so much, he has a lot of his Church friends in his class and that made it easier for him to go. They all went to the zoo monday to kick it off, than on Wednesday they learned "s". now he goes around the house making the ssssss sound. He told me the other night that he loves learning, we'll see it it continues.

Taylor has an hour or so of homework/piano every night, but all she cares about right now is her birthday party. It's not until November, but she has big ideas of what she wants.

Eli has taken a few more steps this week, and is a little jabber box. His favorite word is "Mom" right now and "what o". He is a goober but wouldn't trade any of my babies for anything.

Now for a tumor update....my blood work shows my levels dropping, but not as fast as one of my doctors wants, so they upped my dose, it was making me very sick for the first few days, so I changed some how much I took at one time, and that seems to help for now.

My Baby isn't a baby anymore!

Eli turned 1 on Thursday, he loved the cake and

had to taste a bit out of all most everybody's bowl.

He even sat in his twice and wiped his hands off on the carpet.

He has taken one step, and can stand on his own, but doesn't

do it a lot yet.

He loves his big brother and sister, he's always looking for "Nay"

he use to call Taylor Tay Nay, but he's shortened it down.

We love having our little boy, and can't believe how fast he

has grown up!!

Island Park

We had a mini family reunion in Island Park this past weekend with my family. We had a lot of fun and the kids have memories with their cousins.

Back to School

Little Miss. Taylor is back to school today. It is her first time going to all day school so we'll see how she does with that, I think we will all need a nap by the end of today. Trevor is all ready lost without his best friend. She was so excited to wear her new shoes and clothes, they've been hanging in her clothest for a long time now and it's been "killing" her not to wear them....she's becoming a girly girl....I'll post pics later of her first day in first grade...lunch and recess!!!

8 Years and many more....

Tuesday August 18th was our 8 years Anniversary!

Shaun and I were talking about how different life is now compared to than...

3 Wonderful kids, that were VERY sick all day, but we did get a dinner date in.

A house that is a never ending mess of blocks, cars, toy Kitchens, and blankets.

29.....

I turned 29 on Tuesday. It wasn't as bad as I thought it "may" be. It was a good day, Shaun took it off and watched the kids while I went out to Lunch with a very good friends, Thanks Melissa! When we got home Shaun took the older two shopping for their gifts to me, while I stayed home with Eli, he napped most of the time so it was quiet, best present for a mom in my oppinion! Than I had to go to the DMV for my license renewal, this is the worst picture yet...so I only did the 4 year insted of the 8.

That evening my family came over for pie and icecream, didn't want cake this year..it was a good day, thanks Babe for making it easier on me!

Tumor update

I went in on Monday for my monthly blood work up...the results came in today, and they are pretty good. When I had my last one done (June 30) my levels were at 186, and today is 26.1. BIG change, I will be on the same dose for this next month and go back in the first week of September for another blood draw. According to the nurse it could go up and change the dose, but the goal is to stay the same.

Hip, Hip, Hurray!!

We have started with all the school supplies, and we will be hitting the clothes and shoes next...Taylor is going back to school in a little less than 4 weeks. Last year I was VERY pregnant at this time and worried about letting my little girl go out in the world by her self (mind you the school is a block over from our house.) This year I am as excited as her. "SCHOOL!"

Mom and Dad's 31st

Today is my parents 31st anniversary!

What a month....

This month has been a long, hard, busy one. It started off with the MRI and all the new pills I'm on. All at the same time Shaun had to work A LOT...he put 156 hours in for the last pay period. Which was hard on all of us, when he was home he was sleeping, and I was starting my new round of meds that make me sick. Things are better now, he's back to 7:30am to 6:00pm hours, and I can walk with out my stomache in my throat.

Taylor lost 2 teeth in one week, just in time to get ready for school, those are going to be some fun school pictures this year:)

Trevor says I am the worst mom in the world, and that he wants to go to his room, needless to say he gets sent there a lot so he now calls it his "rocket room" he plays space shuttles on his bed to entertain himself.

Opposite than Taylor, Eli got 2 new teeth this month, that now makes 7 all the way in and 2 more getting closer.

Happy 4th!!!

We had a fun 3rd and 4th. On the 3rd Rigby does fireworks at the lake, so we are able to have a good view from our back/side yard. My family came over to watch them with us, than on the 4th we went to their house for lunch, and later that evening met up in Menan for their show. We had a lot of fun, and it was nice to be able to get out of the house and enjoy the family. Here are a few pictures I took of the kids and the BBQ.
