Dolls-Dolls-Dolls Everywhere!

Whatever doll can be found, she wants them to go with her always! Sleeping, in the car, to g-ma's, outside for a walk or to play, and church(we won't allow that one). I must admit that I love this "baby" thing. She is my little princess and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Thanksgiving

We had an enjoyable time in Wyoming visiting Tyler's side of the family. It was wonderful to see everyone and to eat delicious food. Thanks Jan and Brad for having us out there.
Best Friends!

If there is trouble to be found, he will find it!!

Braden fell in love with Foosball!!

Eating above, the hugs and goodbye's below.

Potty Training Complete!!

Brynn is Potty Trained!! It was a rather easy ride for mom. At the beginning of November I had a week that was empty on the calendar. I said to Tyler it is this week or not for a while. So, Monday morning panties were on and we were frequently visiting the potty. Brynn did awesome! Three wet accidents the first day, one the second day, one the third day, and none from there on!! She even managed number two after holding it in for a couple of days. I am down to only one in diapers again--YEAH!! She loves telling me that she is a big girl, and I make sure she knows that she is my "big girl princess."

Bounce Back Boondocks

We had free bounce back tickets to this place. None of my family could go, or wanted to go, so I took some friends and we went and had some great fun.

Brynn's favorite game, the ball sometimes goes to the track next to her, but she loves trying. As you can see, Spencer tries also. Fun!!

Braden is addicted to this stuff! Glad we don't live close to this--or else it would not be fun to tell him over and over that we don't have the money. He is really good at the games, and understands most concepts.

Karson loves this game also. He is great at making the high score.

Miniature golf was fun. There was no organization to this chaos. We just played how you want. The kids sometimes even just dropped there ball into the hole. Glad it was a fast 18 holes.

Braden didn't dare drive at first by himself. He could have, but decided not to. Karson drove, and had a blast. The second time around, Braden drove by himself and Sharidi watched Spencer so that I could take Brynn. She is lucky to go because she was too short, but the guy was really nice--it wasn't busy. It was a fun, crazy day--definitely will not go back for a while.

Tagged!

Okay, now that I have had a week to think about this, I will try my best to express myself. I am not good at it, but here it goes. I don't like talking about myself--that may be why this has been so hard for me to do.

1)The first thing that I am truly grateful for is my husband and children. I love Tyler so much, and am so glad that we have an eternal family. He is a great example to me in many ways, and I pray that I can become as good of a person as he is. My children make me so happy. I feel very blessed that the Lord has allowed and trusted me with precious children of His. I hope that I can teach them the gospel and have them CTR in all they do.

2)Second, all of my extended family. This includes my wonderful mother and father who have raised me, taught me the gospel and how we can be happier knowing and living the truth, given so much to me(too many things to name), and continue to teach, lead, and guide. They gave me ample opportunities to learn and grow. Thanks for not giving up on me! I love all of you and are glad that you are a part of me.

3) The Gospel. I can say so much about this part of my life. But, without going on and on, I must say that the gospel is true. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ and his plan for us. I know he knows me, and helps me be a better person if I allow him to help. My faith grows deeper when I do what is right and follow Him.

4)Being active, especially athletics. I must say that I appreciate certain sports and activities more, but that is all relative when it comes to getting "my natural high." I feel good about myself when I have had a great workout. Playing soccer my entire life has had me realize how fun and great it feels when you have exercised hard.

5) I love learning. This can be anything. I enjoy reading, going to school, sitting at the computer, and just about anything else if I am learning. It can be tough, but very rewarding. I also remember that no one can take away my knowledge. It is mine to keep!

6) I love the outdoors and beauty of the earth. We have been so blessed to live in such a beautiful place. I am grateful for fun activities that make it even better. As a family, we love to go camping, hiking, biking, 4-wheeling, sledding(in the winter), and just about everything else if it is outdoors! I would rather be outside any day than inside.

Playing in the Leaves

It is always fun to see the kids playing in the leaves. What could be so fun about jumping in the pile, being buried, and throwing leaves? I think it is a beautiful mess that needs cleaning up--but not until the kids have played. I snapped some fun pictures of my kids playing in the leaves.

Last year we had plenty of leaves to play in at our house. This year, the kids have played next door, across the street, and at the Davis house. We have drastically reduced our work load as we cut down our trees. The first year we moved in, I believe that I had over 40 bags of leaves and pine needles. The second year it was down to 15-20. This year, I believe that I have raked a total of 3 bags of leaves and maybe will end up with 5-6. I can handle that many!

Born To Play

Spencer has obviously watched his family play plenty of soccer. He loves to kick a ball around!

Carving Pumpkins

Who can forget that we did carve pumpkins this year. We went to our friends, the Gough's, and we carved with them. It was great fun and work--especially for the adults. I don't like my loaner camera much. With my camera that is being fixed, I could take a cool picture of them lit up. Braden dropped my camera so this loaner is what I have to deal with-its crappy. Thank goodness for camera insurance--it will cost nothing. Except for the quality of pictures is not the same. Anyhow, hope that you can see these cool cut outs.

This is Bailey and Brynn. They both carved a cat into their pumpkins. Brynn did get gooey and helped with the seeds.

Karson did awesome cutting out his Alien after dad helped him get the mini holes to outline where to cut.

This is the giant pumpkin the Gough's grew! It is huge! Oh, Spencer did take a fall down two cement stairs at my neighbors house across the street. He was scabbed up pretty good. The biggest of the them is right here on his forehead. He has now finally learned to turnaround to go down stairs--Yeah!

Halloween 2007

Halloween was fun and successful this year. The kids loved to be Star Wars characters. Braden and Karson told Brynn that she was not just a princess, but that she is Princess Leah. Spencer was Yoda (not much effort put into his costume), but we figured that it would be fun if all four kids were Star Wars characters. Tyler learned of our costumes from a neighbor. We like to dress up, but not with much effort or money. We are the Black-Eyed P's. Kinda funny huh?? The kids got plenty of sugar, and already ask when the next Halloween is--glad its a year away.

Never Too Young To Learn

Braden is learning how to chop wood. It is great to have them like to learn to work. Sorry its sideways-don't know how to rotate video's. I tried and failed.
