What a fun week!

This week was fun but also busy and crazy! Tuesday we drove down to NC to see the Pheonix Suns play the Bobcats(which the Suns beat the pants off of the Bobcats!) and came back Wednesday. Brian (my brother) called and said that one of my other brothers, Timothy, was coming into Andrews Air Force base Thursday night so Jackson and I made another road trip to DC. Then Adam came to meet up with us Saturday in Richmond so we could spend the weekend there. While Adam was driving up to Richmond, his Dad called him and told him that his Uncle Jimmy from Utah was in Yorktown for the weekend. Since Yorktown is not very far from Richmond, we made another trip down to see Uncle Jimmy for a few hours and then we came back to Richmond and stayed until Sunday! Jackson was such a good sport during all of this! I could not have asked for a better baby! Here are all of the pictures from our adventures this past week! Enjoy!

Mom and Dad took baby J up to the parkway last Sunday evening to get out of the house. We are looking down at where we live and can see Lexington and all of Rockbridge County.

Adam tricked Emily into eating California Roll type of sushi a couple of months ago. Now she loves them. Adam had to show proof that Emily really loves sushi. Fish is not that bad afterall!

Jackson's Blessing

Jackson was blessed on September 30th. His blessing outfit barely fit him since he was two months old by that point! We had lots of family and some friends come and join us for the festivities. We even had Dr. Wright come from the NICU in Charlottesville come that morning to be apart of the blessing as well. It was fun to have some many people come and show their love for out son!

Jackson is 2 months old!! He had his two month checkup with the doctor and standing at two feet tall (24 inches) and weighing in at 12 pounds and 12 ounces. Jackson received a bunch of shots and he was so brave. He is doing so well and his oxygen levels remain 98%-100%.

What a picture that is, Carley, only 6 years older than Jackson, is reading to Jackson and he absolutely enjoyed looking at the pictures.

Oh yea, if anyone did not notice, Jackson had his oxygen removed on Sept 5th. The doctor at UVA medical center said he is a healthy, growing boy with no long term effects. His oxygen levels remain between 95%-100%, even with the cold that he has! He is growing so much and sure does love to smile.
