Today was a sad day

A coule in our ward at 20 weeks found out thei baby was gong to have heart problems. They planned to have surgery as soon as she was born so our ward has fasted and prayed for her. She was born on Thursday morning and looks beautiful lots of black hair and just a perfect size cuz she was full term! Well her heart had 5 problems instead of two and she only has one lung! How sad! They had to make some tough decisions. They could go through with surgery and run the risk of her passing during surgery or during recovery and then later needing a heart transplant or just going home and letting her live her last day at home! Very tough decision! They decided to bring her home. Our relief society had a few of us go over and clean their house this moring with her mother in law and then I was able to go with another gal in our ward at 5 to take a few family photos for them. I was just a helper cuz they only wanted 10 min of pix and then they wanted to be left alone! There was a sweet spirit in that home! The mom said "Brielle you're home" and when my friend asked her if she wanted more pix she said "no that's good, we've taken pictures in iur head that will last forever" they are amazing people!!! Brielle May not make it through the night but the time they have spent with her has been precious! I was told in her blessing that she was told she will be comforted in heaven and to not be afraid because Heavenly Father will be there with her. How precious! He is there for us all at all times too and what's beautiful blessing that is to each of us.

It made me think a lot about how lucky I am to have such a healthy boy! I gave him lots of kisses tonight!  I hope i can do a better job of enjoying the moment and taking mental pictures. I take so many pix and forget to just enjoy the moment cuz that will last forever! I can't imagine what they are going through tonight but I am grateful for my family, my trials and most of all my faith. The plan if salvation is real. We will see our loved ones again and what a day it will be for us to reunite with them. My heart goes out for their family right now! 

Rain and Sun

So Carter was sick last week and it was beautiful weather that we missed out on and then this week once he has been better has been rainy!! Blah..... He has been so frustrated that he couldn't go outside and i was too. Its so hard to entertain a boy inside for 4 days so i gave in and put on our rain coats and went for a walk! it was the only thing i could do to make this kid happy. after his nap he was happier and the sun was shinning so i decided to put my to do list away and all the shopping that needed to be done and go enjoy the weather. so glad i did because his cabin fever broke!! it was great! ha ha he loved being outside and we went to the park with a few towels to wipe all the water off the slide and loved it!! then it stormed again but he was okay with it cuz he got to play outside!!

The Masters Program

Well Ty started the MBA program on Friday and well the two of us are left at home on Friday night and Saturday morning so here we are having a little fun. we went for a walk for 45 min and then played with paint and then took a bath and then he was pretty much worn out!! Fabulous!! so he cuddled with his towel (he usually hates towels) in the duck tub for a bit. He decided to lay on dad's side of the bed and act asleep. it was so funny! Then we read books and went to bed! He was asleep at 8:45 which is a record for us! hoping to get it 8:30 soon!

Simple things

He needs a spoon but uses his hands! Ha ha messy eater.

He was pooped after our trip to the store!

He's obsessed with plugs lately and what better thing to try to plug in than my straitened! Yikes!! 

Once again made a mess at dinner so this is him waiting for me to clean up the mess and then get him dressed again!

Fun filled Tuesday

Today was a busy day. We played with two of our neighbors and had a great time. I set up my Photo Studio and played around with the lights while my little man took a nap. It was so fun and i am excited to get started. 

Here we go on a two year adventure!

We have decided that it was time for Ty to go back and get his masters! So here we go on a two year adventure of Friday night 6-10 and Saturday morning 8-12 classes! Ty is excited to get his masters but not so thrilled about the two year of school. It wil be a great blessing when he is done and not to mention his work will be paying for all of the expenses so it's a win win for us!! He's an awesome student so he will do great! Today we went and laid for school and bought books for his first class! Quite the expensive day but it's great! Best of luck hubby!!! We love you and will miss you on the weekends!!

 

Silly boy today!

This kid is feeling so much better today! I'm so grateful to have a healthy boy again!
