aMeRiCa!

So... where to begin...?!!
I began my trek in Edinburgh. I was stopped in security because there was a bottle in my bag! I was sure i didn't have any bottles!! Turns out that in Elder Brimall's (an elder from Mesa who is serving in my stake) stuff, there was a bottle of massage oil that he failed to warn me of! MASSAGE OIL?!!!!!! So, I told security that they could chuck it!! hahaha
My first flight was fine and I even had the row to myself for the majority of the flight!! Then, when i got to Newark I had 2 hours to get through customs. easy, right?
But, alas, no! I got taken to the scary rooms and was made to sign documents and give statements abandoning my permenant resident status. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW I STILL HAD A GREENCARD!!! Turns out it's expired so what they did was useless and a waste of time! I was crying the whole time as I had missed my flight! I was able to get a later flight but didn't get in til 10.00pm. It all worked out in the end as i have not suffered from jet lag!!
So far i am loving the states and can't believe how much Gilbert has changed since I moved back home! I will write again soon telling of my American Adventures!

Back to the hectic Hann house!

It's funny how a silent house can suddenly be plunged into chaos! As soon as the little ones walked in the door! Tuesdays are the most hectic days at our house! I was starting to write this post when suddenly madness ensued! Just so you know, this tuesday (because it is our crazy day (Uni - for myself and Dad, who is currently studying for his Masters, Sophia attends college, Polly has work, Faith in God and Young Women's) we ordered pizza in.(Domino's 2 for Tuesdays!) Eva, the baby, has a chest infection and is currently on antibiotics. Dad (who is a nurse) was about to give her her medicine when he looked at the instructions and realised that the pharmacy had prescibed the wrong amount of ibuprofen, double the correct dosage for a baby! He immediately called the pharmacy to ensure that no-one else suffered as a result of this pharmasuetical error. They said that they would check and call back. Meanwhile, there was a knock on the door, the pizza had arrived!! However, the driver had been crashed into and had hurt his neck. (plus, the pizzas were cold :( ) So whilst Dad spoke to the driver, helping to determine if he needed to go to the hospital, the phone rang. Mum picked it up, assuming that it was Dominos, and answered saying "Your driver has crashed and all the pizzas are cold!!" It was the pharmacy. Awkward. Turns out the prescription WAS wrong AND after calling up Dominos to inform them of the injured driver (and cold pizzas) we received another 4 pizzas (hot ones!) So just imagine this all happening with, like, 10 kids running around and you will start to understand the chaos that is the Hann house!! (My mother feels that we need tp confirm that we shared the other 4 pizzas that arrived with the youth across the road at the church) (So, no, we did not eat 8 pizzas.)




(But I am sure we could have!)

Scarf man

It would appear that the continental market has returned to Dundee town centre and has brought the famed "scarf man" back!!!

His stall is in the same place as before,
with the scarfs and watches I simply adore!!
So back off Sarah, he is mine!
Cos' great scarfs are hard to find!!

Today is Tuesday

yet every day is a Thursday!

UNO!!

UNO in my house tends to end in tears! It's unbelievable how many fights and arguements stem from games! Jennifer is crying because they are playing too fast! Isabella is upset because she has no cards left (which I thought to be the whole point of the game!) and Annabelle is crying because Charlotte bit her!! Madness!!! Jonas who wasn't even playing just ran up the stairs shouting UNO!!!!
