Preece’s agree that first few days of summer were wonderful. When asked what Sam enjoyed most about
Tuesday she responds, “The pool. It was
warm.” A strange answer to such a
question but having warm weather certainly is a great start to summer. Cate and Mom both agreed sleeping outside was
their favorite activity on Tuesday.
Why? “We got to sleep outside in
the tent in the tree house, tell stories, read books, and watch part of Harry
Potter 2,” Cate smiled. Mom and Dad both
agreed that they liked the chance to be with their children who enjoyed it so
much. When I asked Cate and Sam if they
would sleep in the tree house again but without a tent. Cate enthusiastically exclaims, “Yes!” Sam’s response is, “Maybe; if the weather is
sunny, yes. If the weather is warm,
yes. If were suspended in the air in the
tree house so no critters can get us, yes.”
Well, if the weather is sunny, and if the weather is warm, and if were
suspended in the air in the tree house so no critters can get us, it looks like
we will be sleeping again up in the tree house with no tent. Tuesday was a great day, yet mom says that
she enjoyed Wednesday more because she had a whole day to spend time with us. On Wednesday we did a lot of fun
activities. Mom loved planting flowers
in the garden. Cate and Sammie loved
their play date with Kate Howell. Sofie,
“ I liked finishing Harry Potter 2.” A

"Hilarious"
Went to the cupboard and saw the box of newly purchased nectarines. 
Caught...orange handed:)
One was missing. I turned to mike, are they ripe? Did you eat this? No...I think. I bet it was Sofie. That's something she would do. Then I look around the pantry door to see Sofie standing there with a half-eaten nectarine in her hands:)

I am thankful for...
Carter's piano playing....we recorded him tonight playing a Mozart piece for his biography assignment on Mozart. We recorded it and it will be the background for his iMovie!
I am thankful for...
My blendtec: smoothies, gluten-free flour, almond butter, and baby food. Amazing how it pulverizes with serious power...love it!

Story parent on valentine's day. We don't own a valentine's book so we decided to write one:) Sammie and Cate helped write and illustrate. mrs.Arnett thought we should publish it:) such a fun project!
