Four wheeling ride

Shane and I thought we would share this video of the boys four wheeling with their cousins(Shane's sister Maria's kids).   We always get a good laugh when Joseph shows up out of the blue at the end.  We had no idea that he was riding in back.

Orrin LOVES to read.  We alwasy find him sitting with a book. 

Okay family, I know this pink blanket looks familiar.  I'm not the onl one who loves it.  This is Joseph.  He has finally worn out the back, so I made him one that was a little more manly-a john deere tractor blanket.

One more thing I forgot to add to our summer fun.  the boys got to ride on a train from our town to the next.

This spring/summer Joseph learned to potty train.  We usually read books to help when they first start out to learn.  This time, Andrew wanted to read Joe the book

We also did a lot of canning-tomatoes, green chilies, salsas, fruit, jam, and applesauce.  Here the boys are helping me finish the last batch of applesauce.  (Hooray!!)

In June, Shane and I celebrated our 5th anniversary.  We had a great time fishing, and going out to eat.

And more summer

The boy's next favorite thing they did this summer was to ride in a REAL combine.  We have a friend who drives a combine, so he let the boys and Shane ride with him for the wheat harvest.

 They also rode a pony.  By the end of the summer they were riding it by themselves with out being led.

More summer fun

My favorite thing we did this summer was go camping and fly fishing up Clinetop Mountain in the White River Nat Forest.  It was so beautiful and relaxing.  We had quite a hike down the canyon to the fishing, but the boys were troopers and we had a great time.  I LOVE the mountains!

Summer Fun

 This spring/summer we celebrated Birthdays!  Andrew turned 4, and got a new cowboy outfit.  Joseph turned 3, and Orrin 1

 Our Christmas tree.  We live in a little house with no room for a tree.  We came up with this last year, and has become our favorite tree.
