Abby got this huge red balloon. It's the little things in life that make this kid happy!

Watching a man juggle swords while on a unicycle. He also juggled a chainsaw (crazzzy)

After watching our sad attempt at a family selfie, someone offered to take our picture.

And then Jordan won the Father of the Year award by letting go of Abby's balloon. 

After the Sunfest, we went to my cousin Lena's house for a BBQ and games. Our friends the Perssons came too!

Be Mine - A Chocolaty Date

In consideration for Valentine's Day

I'll write this post in a poetic way

As you all know 

by stalking us so

Excuses to be romantic are not needed

However,

If we must, we will conform

and do something that's cupid's norm

Chocolates and kisses

Hearts and well wishes

The 14th's all about getting treated!

The set-up Jordan came home to. I made him a canvas for our bedroom. It's sheet music and a quote from our wedding song (Steady as we Go by Dave Matthew's Band). I also gave him a little card. Jordan brought me home mini cupcakes! I ate them too fast to take a picture. My favorite was the Red Velvet.

 Our score sheets. Turns out dark chocolate isn't so bad when you eat it the way you're "supposed to".

P.S. Jordan really is so super romantic...you might not think so because he is Mr. Crazy Pants, but here is proof: as I was writing this blog post, he wrote me a text saying, "I'd marry you in a heartbeat because when I see you my heart always skips a beat."

Faster, Higher, Stronger

Today, Jordan and I had an Olympic Games themed date.
For the invite, I sent him a private instagram (did you know you can do that?). It was a picture of an olympic skier dude asking if he wanted to go on a date with me. 
We watched some of the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games on CBC.ca. It was awesome to watch the sisters win Canada a gold and silver in moguls!! 

Then we went to our nephew's hockey game. His team got to be part of The Big League Experience. These little kids got to play at the Saddledome! It was like a real game - we sang the National Anthem, they had the fans on the jumbotron, they sounded the loud horns when someone scored, and everything. There is nothing cuter than a bunch of 7 year olds skating around!
My nephew even scored! Ya! I'm a proud Auntie. 

Then I made some soft pretzels shaped like the olympic rings!
