Coming Soon....Bump Ahead

We are so excited to announce the upcoming arrival of a new baby to our family. Oh, how we have prayed for this day to come for a long, long time. We are grateful to the Lord for answering our prayers. We are also grateful to friends and family who have offered prayers in our behalf, thank you! So far this pregnancy is going smooth. Our last one ended in miscarriage and was devastating. It has been hard not to let doubt and fear control our thoughts as we watch each week go by wondering if we will experience that awful reality again...BUT, after 17 weeks and several "perfect" ultrasounds we feel confident in this great miracle. We are excited to welcome this little miracle into our lives...February 4th, 2013!
My heart continues to ache for those who are unable to conceive or who have lost babies....we have walked those 2 lonely roads before. For those who are on those roads, our prayers are with you! Don't give up!

Chef Boston's Kitchen

I made this little kitchen out of a old TV console from a thrift store.

With a little spray paint, a ton of late nights and a few odds and ends...this masterpiece made it's debut Chirstmas morning.

Chef Boston loves it and now, every morning I hear him in his new play room making

pancakes and pizza for "breakfast in bed." His imagination is incredible.

Caught RED-Handed

Boston absolutely LOVES to finger paint. Believe it or

not this litte "MESS" was actually supervised and

while I didn't encourage any of it, I could not stop this

little guy from doing what he loves! He is very creative and

his imagination is off the charts.

Argh!

For October Book Club we read "Pirates" by Cecilia Reese

and we dressed up as Pirates! We had so much fun!

I didn't take my camera to get a picture of the rest of

the girls, but everyone got in the Pirate Spirit and

we had a great time.

Pumpkin Patch

It's that time of year....again! Wow, where does the time go?

The air is getting crisp. The sun is going down sooner and my

halloween decorations have made their way out of storage!

I just love how excited Boston gets about everything.

what a great day in our lives...finally after a

lot of hard work and sweat...we have grass!

Soccer Maniac!

Boston had his first soccer game and I wish I could have had you all there to witness how cute and hilarious it is! 14 little 3 year olds running in opposite directions + occasionally kicking the ball = a good time! The highlight of the game was when Boston picked up the ball (with his hands) and ran it down the field. When we was about 2 feet away from the net, he put it down and kicked it in...scoring a goal! Talk about efficient!

Boston's 1st Day of Pre School

Wow, I never thought I would be blogging about pre-school so soon...but YES, Boston just started pre-school and he has to be the absolute CUTEST pre-schooler in the world!

Boston had his backpack on about an hour before pre-school started and has asked me 5 or 6 times when we get to go back to pre-school! I should be super excited that he loves loves loves his pre-school, but I am a little saddened that he is growing BIG so FAST!

Real Salt Lake Soccer

Real Salt Lake won 3 to 0. Go Real!

Boston is starting soccer this fall so we thought it would be fun to take him to the Real Salt Lake game so he could get an idea of what he is supposed to do on the field...He absolutely loved watching the game and so did we! We love spending time together as a family!

Toy Story Birthday Bash!

For Boston's 3rd Birthday we had a Toy Story 3 Party.

He invited his friends over for Alien cupcakes, a Mr. Potato Head activity,

Pin the Tail on Bulls Eye, and Musical Aliens!

Boston got loads of toys from his friends

and there were lots of laughs, giggles and smiles!

Dirty Work!

For the last several weeks, yardwork has

consumed every free weekend and

every spare dollar we have :)

Boston loves playing in the dirt and when

the tractors came to landscape with rocks...

you can image how excited Boston was.

Moab and Goblin Valley

This summer for our big family vacation we

headed to Goblin Valley and Moab for some

camping, hiking, ATV-ing, and lots of fun in

the sun! Boston absolutely loved climbing the

big rocks. Nature is his playground.

We had a blast and there is nothing like partyin' it up

with your family!

If you want to see the rest...well you will just have to schedule an appointment OR move to my neighborhood cause I am super private about showing everyone my "living quarters" on a non-private blog (crazy?! probably...), but this is our Kitchen...one of my most favorite rooms in the house.
