Merry Christmas!

{2009}

Better late than never!

Even though she is ten weeks old I have to send announcements! (I don't know why it has taken me so long.) These pictures were taken her first week or two of life , and I just think she's the cutest thing!

SIX!

Mason is six years old and I can't believe it! The day before his birthday he lost his first tooth! He has the cutest smile and I'm not ready for those big kid teeth yet! We celebrated his birthday at the park and had dinner. He requested a monster truck birthday party! We kept it super simple, since I just had Marlie;) It was such a nice day and he got some great gifts (Thanks everyone!)

Six things I love about Mason:
His smile- He always smiles so good for me when I'm taking pictures-It makes things so much easier!

He loves his sisters-especially Marlie right now! He always tries to make her "talk" and smile, and he helps in the car if she's sad he'll get her binky and talk to her.

His memory. The kid remembers everything.

He loves holidays! He's always telling me the holidays in order and which one is next. He likes them all! (Especially ones with inflatable decorations)

He is detail conscious. He likes things a certain way, and he can get pretty frustrated if things aren't that way!

His prayers. He says the cutest prayers and is really thoughtful and does a good job.

Mischievous Maya!

Maya is so adorable it's hard to be mad at her- at least for very long! She likes to do things herself. So when she makes a mess- she doesn't tell me, she just tries to fix it herself. Good thing Mason likes to tell me everything and tells me when there's a mess or whatever. My favorite thing she says to me is, "It's ok mom, we can glue it...or it's ok mom, we can wash it!"

Tyler took Maya to work to run a quick errand and left her in the car watching a movie. He came back and she was still just watching a movie. So the next day, we go to put all the kids in the car, and Tyler notices a big smiley face drawn on the back of one of the headrests, and then smiley face people on every other seat and arm rest in the car. Awesome. (Surprisingly I wasn't too mad about about it. I think her drawings are pretty cute!) So after trying everything to get it out, we called my dad (who is a genius with cars!) and he came over and got it right out!(These were taken after Tyler had already tried to get it off- they were black!)

Then the other day I was trying to give her glitter toes, and we had one side done-still wet and someone came to the door. I told her just to stay there-not move and don't touch anything. When I came back she had tried to do the other side herself, and had dumped all the glitter on her foot on the carpet! That girl loves anything sparkly-she couldn't resist! She's my little miss independent, and I love her!

My delivery went great, My doctor was awesome, and I can't believe she's already a week old! She is such a good baby, and I'm just trying to soak up this newborn stage. I forgot how much I like it! She's so tiny and I keep telling her to stay little! Mason and Maya lalalove her. I feel bad for always yelling at them to stay out of her business, because they love her so much! This girl is so alert- she always has her eyes open. I've taken like a million pictures of her, and I would like some of her sleeping but she likes to be in on the action! She is so sweet and we are so lucky to have her!

Ready or Not!!!

It's a May baby......I never feel ready, but this baby is about to come tomorrow.....So this party of four is about to become a party of five! Wish me luck!

We're back!!...

At the water park that is! You know I'm crazy when I'm nine months pregnant and as big as a house and I'm hittin the water park! We got a couple times in before this baby comes! Mason and Maya picked up right where they left off....Maya still a dare devil and not afraid of anything, and they had so much fun with their cousins! So excited for another summer at Roaring Springs!

Mason graduated from pre-school, and he was so excited to be done! Ever since his Kindergarten orientation he has been telling me he doesn't want to go to pre-school, he wants to go to the big school! he did have a fun year with Miss Erika, but he's ready for Kindergarten!

Splish Splash!

It's finally getting nice enough to go to the splash pad! It's even better since the big kids are still in school! We could hardly get them to leave they were having so much fun!

Princess Party II!

Maya is really getting used to this princess party stuff! Grandma Pence had another one and Maya just kept on talking about it-she gets so excited. She is already planning which dress she will wear for the next one....She had to be "Mamamermaid" this time!

For the party, they had doughnuts and a tea party. They colored, traded clothes, had lunch, and got in Grandma's new hot tub, AKA "the bath" according to Maya! She had so much fun! I can't believe the princesses are about to double this year with mine, Emily's and Mary's baby girls...(and maybe Ally?) Talk about drama!

May Baby Maybe???

At 37 weeks I'm dilated at a 2 and 50% efaced! Is this baby coming in May? I doubt it since I was induced with Mason and Maya, but my doctor said she would induce me either May 29th, or June 1st- Not too much longer!!!

Mother's Day Tea!

At Mason's pre-school they always have a Mother's Day Tea. They do a little program, show what they've been learning, and tell why they love their mom with a picture they've colored. Mason said because I take him to the park! Then they serve us food! It is really cute- they give us a card with their picture and handprints in it. (This year I was too pregnant to be sitting in those midget chairs!)

Mason did not seem thrilled to be singing songs!

Finally caught up!

I'm so happy to finally be getting caught up on this blog! I've had lots of drafts started but have been too sick or too tired or too lazy to finish them! This pregnancy has been nuts! I had bronchitis for like eight weeks, and then was coughing so hard I popped a rib out and had to go to a chiropractor to get it put back, and I wanted to slit my wrists after that every time I coughed. (It will be a miracle if this baby does not come out with shaken baby syndrome from all that coughing!) So Finally I'm feeling better and trying to get ready to have this baby....Only three weeks left-So crazy!

Easter 2009

I thought these kids were so cute on Easter- I was a little disappointed I couldn't find more matchy outfits, but what do you do! Maya was so cute when I did her hair. When I got done and she saw it in the mirror, she said Ooh, I have big hair! She loved it, and now every Sunday she wants her "big hair"! (Doesn't happen too often with 8:30 church!)

Saturday we got together with the Pence's and had an egg hunt, and the annual adult money egg hunt- always anticipated and appreciated every year!

Then Sunday we went to my parents for more festivities- I think Mason and Maya had such a fun weekend especially with all their cousins! We are so lucky to live so close to family!
