I haven't posted pictures for awhile... so here are a few!

Credit/Debit card fraud... 411

I have learned quite a bit this last week about credit card fraud! We still don't have our money back, but the bank has been amazing! They have been so helpful... we should have it back within the next few days. Sears has been AWFUL! They just don't care!

So I learned that to get your credit/debit card number is really easy, and can be done three different ways. When standing in line at the store if you are holding your card someone behind you can take a picture of it with their phone and watch you put your pin # in... they then have a fraud ring where they tell a buddy to make them a card with your number and they have your pin, what I learned from sears is that with debit cards they DO NOT have to see an ID. So because they had his debit and apparently his pin they did not ask for ID. Another way is "Phishing"? They put a device in the scanner to read your number and info and make a card with your #s on it. Or the more obvious one is on the internet.

One lady at the bank said that she heard a story that everytime someone used their debit cards the cashier would push the cash back button and pocket the cash. She said that she uses uses her debit card as credit, so they have to get her ID... and no one can get her Pin #. Crazy to me how lazy and selfish people are, stealing other people's hard earned money.

HUGE BUMMER!

Yesterday Andy and I planned to go out tonight, get a babysitter and go to dinner, and try to get our Christmas shopping done. I called and got a babysitter, had it all set up and getting excited when I got a phone call from our bank saying that there was a questionable transaction so I called Andrew and he called to check on it while I looked at our online banking. Sure enough someone in Yonkers, NY had used our card at Sears... not online, they actually swiped his card and bought something for $400. YIKES!! So I tried everything I could think of and was on the phone with either the bank or Sears trying to figure out what I could do to stop this from clearing my account. Sears was such a let down, they wouldn't even listen or try to help... I have to remember that it is New York and people are just down right rude over there!!

The bank is trying to investigate and are disputing it for us, but I had hoped that if I called the store they would stop it on there end before the transaction had cleared. I still have my fingers crossed. The most frusterating part is how unfeeling people can be, that they would steal that much money from someone right before christmas!! Luckily Andy got paid yesterday so we won't have any overdraft charges along with it. It was one of those... bummer moments when you wonder... WHY? WHY us and WHY now! Hopefully it is all resolved quickly and we get our money back soon!

Alex my x-roomie from college/basically one of my sisters :) came to stay with me for a few days this week!! It was so much fun!! We decided to take some pictures of the boys... Which one do you like??

Holy COW its a CROCODILE!!!

I hope everyone had a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! We definitely did!! Kyler dressed up as a crocodile & Aiden was a cow. We went to Boo at the zoo with my sister-in-law and her girls. Kiaya and Daisy. It was lots of fun... VERY cold but fun! The night before Halloween we went to a costume party I dressed up as Nurse Ratchet and Andy was my victim... lol! My grandpa's have both called me that for some reason for years. lol! Halloween night we went to my grandma's annual Halloween party. My sister and her CRAZY husband dressed up... they always win for best costumes!! Angie was the sheep and Brady was little bopeep NICE JOB guys!
Aiden also was a pumpkin around the house!! I love the little booties & hat, so I had to let him wear it!

Giggles... and Aiden in a nutshell!!

Aiden has been such a funny baby, he has weird quirks that we have found in the last two months... I can't believe he is TWO months old!

He is getting so BIG! Here are a few of his quirks we have found!!!

Like he LOVES to have his diaper changed he smiles so BIG every time... even if it is in the middle of the night! He loves to have his clothes changed... maybe it is that he likes to be naked?? Not sure.

He is definatly related to my family... He LOVES to suck on his hands!! He will spit out his pacifier and find his hands to suck on. And he specifically likes two fingers (sound familiar Angie??) those two fingers usually will end up choking him if they are in there long enough. Which I try to catch!

He is SUPER ticklish, just about everywhere.

He is an EXTREMELY light sleeper, even if I walk quietly in his room and on my way out the door lightly touches the door frame and makes a little noise... he wakes up!

He is like his dad in that he NEEDS his sleep or he is a little grumpy, but like his grandma in that he is READY for bed at 8:00 and if he doesn't go to sleep sometime soon after 8 he has a hard time going to sleep. If someone wakes him up he is NOT happy and can't go back to sleep. And he is ready to be awake at 6:30... I'm not excited about this time change!!! Goodbye sleep!

One thing though is that even though he goes to sleep at 8ish everynight he usually sleeps until about 4am... we've gone until 5 a couple times!! Too bad he doesn't stay up a little later so I can get a full nights sleep!

Aiden LOVES to watch TV with his big brother!!

For some reason everytime I get the camera out Kyler will say "Cheese" but as soon as I point the camera his way he says "NO" and turns away. I finally got one of his "Cheese" lol! He has been such a good big brother!!

I've been meaning to post this video for awhile, but we finally got him smiling and giggling on camera, he was once again getting his diaper changed and getting dressed for the day... seems to be his favorite time of day, lol! But... you'll have to turn up the volume!!

Lexy Rose Dabell

My sister had her baby today!! 8 years in the making and she is definatly a keeper! 7lbs and 5oz. She has dark hair and looks a lot like Brynly. Congrats guys!!

So much can change in a week!!

For starters Andy found out that there was an opportunity to leave Chili's and jumped on it! He put his notice in on Wednesday and his last day was Saturday and he started his new job Today! His brother bought the Hard Hat Restaurant and hired Andy as the service Manager (which is what he was doing at Chili's)... and he got a much needed raise! YAY! We are so excited to start fresh!

Aiden has been smiling so much!! I love his adorable little smile! This picture does not do it justice! But it is the only one I have gotten on camera! Everytime I get the camera out he stops! lol! He loves taking baths... but its a little scary with his brother in the tub! Kyler wishes Aiden was a little bigger, he wants to play with him so bad!! He's been trying to play trucks with him... but it ends up that Kyler is driving the truck on Aiden. We have to watch him very closely! lol! Its a good thing Aiden is tough!

Remembering the last two years!

It's a little scary to think that Kyler is already two years old. It seems like since he came into our lives time has sped up significantly!! Kyler has been such a good boy, he has always been an extremely easy going little boy! I feel so grateful that I was called to be his mother! I was so excited as a little girl to be a mom someday & now I am so grateful for my husband and my children. I am so blessed!

September 19, 2007 ~ Kyler Kenneth Boyd was born at 8:40 a.m. ~ Measuring 8 lbs 14 oz and 22 inches long. This picture is my in-laws favorite because it shows just how BIG he was!!!

Aiden's Baby Blessing & Kyler's Birthday

We decided to have Aiden's baby blessing this last week since my brother was going to be in town and since it was so close to Kyler's birthday we did both the same night... it was quite the party! Just with our family and a couple close friends we had invited 70 people. WOW! So this party entailed the baby blessing, a BBQ, cake and ice cream and presents. It was so fun... but I am SO glad it is over! lol!

1 Month Old!!

Well we made it!! Aiden is a month old! Wow time really does fly! Here is the most recient picture of him... its not a great one... he does look a little bigger!! lol!

This last month has been very busy! We have hardly been home it seems! In the last month we have filled all of the pencil machines from here to Boise. We have taken over managing some apartments over by the temple. They are going to be a struggle, I am afraid, hopefully they are worth the headache. It looks like we will NOT be moving out of our house anytime soon... YAY! We have been camping and boating. Here are some pictures of our adventures the last month!

My brother and his family came for a week to visit and we all went camping! It was so fun, being all together as a family up at my grandpa's ranch for the weekend... Andy even had all weekend off! It was great! Here are some pictures...
