SUMMERTIME FUN

This summer has been so fun. We are in the pool every day. What else can you do when it's 100+ every day? We have a 8ft x 8ft pool that even Mom and Dad can get in! We put the slide in for even more wet fun!! They love it!
But I think M enjoys it even more than the kids do!
He hooks up the hose, on the mister setting, to an umbrella and soaks for hours.

E and S took swimming lessons this summer-- E is showing me how she floats!
S can hold her breath under water and kicks for all she's worth! No Fear!

Buddyboo LOVES the slide! He goes down over and over again. He also loves to splash his sisters!
He's learned to say swimsuit--well his own version of the word, anyways! This is a pic of his tongue, which is always hanging out when he's having fun!

CRAZINESS

If we only knew what we were getting ourselves into when we decided to rip out our counter tops and redo the entire kitchen! But they do look beautiful! We went with Silestone--a quartz counter top. We raised the counter height about 1 inch and got a new deep sink and new faucet. No more leaks! Then we painted the entire kitchen, dining, and main room. It's supposed to be taupe but depending on the light it looks: purple, brown, pink, or someone called it "mushroom"! We are still working on refinishing the cabinets in the kitchen and we still need to paint the entry way and hall way. So we might actually finish by September, at this rate! (We started in May)

Buddyboo is lucky to be alive!

I love this boy but he is lucky to be alive! He is really driving me crazy! He is worse than the girls combined! He is into everything and busy, busy, busy! First he paints himself with his sister's watercolors! Then he decides he's hungry and helps himself to every box of cereal we have in the pantry. It's a good thing he's cute!
