Done with blogging?

I dunno. I sure seems like I am, doesn't? I am SUPER bummerd that my blog is "full" and that I can't post anymore pix. As I said before, I GUESS there is a way, but I am too lazy and untechie to do it. If someone would do it for me, I would be super happy.

I do miss blogging.

I can't post anymore pictures? WHAT?!?!

YES! I was informed last when when I tried to post, that my photo limit had been maxed out. Something about a new provider or server sharing or some technical picasso mumbo jumbo. After complaining to another blogger friend, she found a fix. It is a bit cumbersome for this technically challenged person, but I shall try. SO...give me another week or 2 and I will see what I can do. I will be back.

OG made A/B honor Roll & got Perfect Attendance last 9 wks
OG is obsessed with her mirror time and looking at herself
OG could watch the Gangnam Style video 800 times a day if we let her

Girls Scouts

OG loves her time with her Brownie troop. She enjoys being involved with all that Girl Scouts has to offer. Last week they participated in a holiday tea. They had all sorts of different snacks and tasted different teas. She also got to hold the flag when they did the Girl Scout promise. It was cute.

 

 

ROCK ON for Halloween!

Fair Time!

Our annual Dixie Classic fair trip was a blast!! OG is now tall enough to ride most of the big rides. She got on the Himalaya, and I thought she was going to freak, it went so fast, but she made it through and was laughing at the end. :)

 

The Big Sweep

The other week, OG and a few members of her Brownie troop did  a good deed...they spent a Saturday morning cleaning up for The Big Sweep. We chose a local lake, and picked up tons of trash and crazy stuff. The most interesting item? A "hockey puck" as they called it. (otherwise known as a SKOAL container). haaaa!

I will admit, I do have a Scrunchie I have had since college. And I have one I use sometimes when I wash my face. But to buy a new bedazzeled one? To be all fancy? I don't think so.

3rd grade! 3rd grade!

Open House was last night! OG was so excited to see friends & to find out who her teacher would be! Turns out, this year she has TWO teachers! Well, sort of. Her main teacher is Ms. Henry. I liked her the minute I saw her and chatted with her for 2 seconds! Super sweet and fun (and a snazzy dresser!).

 

She will have Ms. Henry for math & science...and also will go to PE, lunch, free play and specials (art, music, library,computer lab, etc) with her. She will do language arts & social studies with the teacher across the hall, Mrs. Neff. So when OG's class goes to Mrs. Neff's class...Mrs. Neff' class will go over to Ms. Henry's class for math & science. Pretty cool, if you ask me.

 

 

School starts on Monday! Stay tuned!!!

We always love going up/over to Boone/Blowing Rock. It is even more special when Aunt Cindy & Uncle Frank & the fam are there!! It is such a different world up there. Cool, calm, relaxing!! HAPPY!
