Its just so easy to get behind....it's like I have four kids or something...

I read a memoir awhile back, the main character is diagnosed with cancer and is told that she will never be able to have anymore children. She has two, but she said she always wanted four. If you have four, you can use it for any excuse. Oh, she can't send out Christmas cards, she has four kids. Oh, she is always late, she has four kids. Oh, her house is a mess, but she has four kids. Anyways, I do have four kids, and I have been behind in everything ever since! Acutually, it really started after only having three. But with four, I think I qualify for the four kid excuse.

Maddie went to the girl scout dance again this year with Chris and Elizabeth. They had a great time. I love this picture.

Earlier this week we went to Florida because my sister had her baby. Plus, my mom was there helping out, so it was a perfect time to go spend some time. We stayed in a hotel near her house. We didn't want to be "Hi Cas, welcome little Bear, now let me and my husband and four kids stay at your house" Anyways, the bad thing is this, I only remembered my camera one day and that was when we went to the beach. So, Yes, I am a loser Aunt, and I have no pictures of little Bear, but I assure you he is very cute! All the cousins had sooooo much fun together. I love spending time with family, its times like these that make me very homesick. I would love for my kids to be able to play with their cousins and grandparents all the time.

By the way, I highly recommend going to Destin! Seriously the most beautiful ocean I have seen!

New haircuts

Maddie has been begging me for 2 years to cut her hair in a bob. I finally caved today and let her do it. She went with an a-frame, very slightly stacked in the back. It looks adorable on her.

With Sadie, we cut some layers, and thinned her out some. It really makes her hair look softer. She is such a beautiful girl

And our little crazy Jack could not let me take the girls picture without taking his. Of course he had to act just like a boy!

Atlanta GA Temple

A few weeks ago we took the kids to Atlanta because they were rededicating the Atlanta Temple, and we wanted to take them to the open house. We thought it would be a wonderful experience for them, kids don't have that opportunity, and we couldn't pass it up. It was very beautiful, and a great experience for the kids. I hope that they always remember it. We were able to show the girls the sealing room and talk about how someday they were going to be married there.

Jack has learned to pump. He is so proud of himself and its a great day for me. :) All the time I am looking for him, and he is in the backyard, all by himself just swinging away.

Quick story about this kid. The other day ago, we are getting ready to go to the pool, and Jack comes up to me naked and says, Mom, I peed. Ok, I said where? He says, I show you. I follow him into the living room where he runs and points to his pee all over the wood floor and says TA-DA!!! Are you kidding? What did he think I was going to say? Yeah Jack, good job for peeing all over the floor????? Anyways, needless to say, he was in big trouble. I guess its kind of funny now, but I can not believe that kid sometimes!

We kind of failed taking pics of Easter this year. But we had a great time. The kids had an egg hunt, and we had dinner with some friends. Perfect day.

Sa's hair is getting so long, and its sooooo thick. She had me straighten it for her the other day, and I took a picture because it looked so pretty.

Last week Maddie had a fairy tale program at school, and they had to come in costume. Maddie went as little red riding hood.

She was adorable. They do such a great job at her school, I could not be happier with the kids school.

Our last ward activity was the pine wood derby. We made a car, painted it red and white and named it campbells soup chicken noodle. Sadly we weren't that good. But that's ok, it was so fun. We LOVE our ward so much. They are such our family here.

Here is my little Kevy with Emily's little twin girls Maizey and Maryn. They love Kevin, a little too much usually. But I Love them! They are so cute.

We bought theses little foam rollers from sally beauty. I have wanted them since Kimber bought them for her girls, I just never find myself in that store. But obviously one day we did,and Maddie loves them. She looks pretty cute with her curly hair. Now, maybe one of these days I will remember to take a picture of the finished product.
