Crystal Hot Springs

 The last weekend in September we drove up to Crystal Hot Springs which is just north of Brigham City.  They mix water from a Hot Spring and a Cold Spring which makes the temperature about 100 degrees.  IT felt like swimming in a big bathtub and the kids loved it.

By far the kids favorite part was playing in the waterfalls.

My sister Nona drove down from Logan and spent the afternoon with us.

September - At a Glance

I signed Jace up for a creative/tumbling dance class.  He loves the tumbling part.  Next year I think I am going to put them in their break dance/hop-hop class.

We didn't make it camping this year so Nate did a little camp out in the backyard with the kids.  They both thought it was great, but then Jace wanted to sleep in his own bed so I stayed inside with him while Nate and Callie slept in the backyard.

We drove the Alpine Loop to look at all the fall colors.

We bought a pass for the kids to go to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point.  We went opening day.  The kids had a lot of fun.

Labor Day Weekend

Over Labor Day weekend we have a little mini family reunion with my family.  My sister Jen and her husband Dave were travelling in town for the weekend for Dave's sister's wedding and so Maureen and Brian and their family came and spent a few days with us.  It was the first time everyone was together for at least a couple of year so we did family photos.  Unfortunately I hardly pulled out my camera all weekend.  We did a lot of fun things together and I missed capturing it on photo.

Sunday was the day our family spent together and we had a big dinner.  I was in charge of bringing corn on the cob.  Lucky for me it is still fun for children the shcuk the corn so I didn't have to do all 20 by myself.

We also stopped at the park near my parent's home so the kids could feed the ducks.

 

I love this picture of Jace.  He found grandma's microphone and took it outside and was serenading Grandma and Grandpa's puppies.  It was so cute.  He loves those dogs from a distance.

30th Birthday Party

Well I turned the Big 30 this year and decided I wanted to have a party.  I went with an 80's themed party.  Below are some of the decorations.

 

I had a movie wall with popular movies from the 80's.

 

 

This is how the tables were decorated.  The center peice was a bowl that I made from a melted record.  I filled the bowls with popular candy from the 80's.

 

We had way too much food.
