hora mágica. fim do dia ou início do seguinte? 0 ou 24? o que se sabe é que muita coisa acontece tal como comprovam os vídeos que a retina tem para vocês hoje.

à meia noite o demónio do lixo comercial ganha vida e faz a sua performance pelas ruas e clubes nocturnos que ainda não encheram. a loucura dança-se.

at midnight the commercial waste demon comes to life and does his performance through the streets and still empty nightclubs. the madness is dance-able.

à semelhança de outros posts a retina dá uma "olhada" especial a um realizador. neste caso um duo. respondem pelo nome de Peking e  têm alguns videoclips absolutamente deliciosos. para além da música dedicam-se a outras artes cinematográficas tais como filmes, anúncios, documentários. se quiserem ver + cliquem aqui.

a retina deseja-vos um excelente 2012! apesar de todas as notícias sobre 2012 serem um pouco preocupantes (inclusive de que o mundo acaba, segundo algumas profecias)a retina quer começar o ano com animação. é um tema recorrente… mas a verdade é que a criatividade não se esgota. (vejam 10 álbuns que marcaram 2011 na lente de contacto) 

retina wishes you a great 2012! despite the worrying new about 2012 (even the end of the world according some prophecies)retina wants to start the year with animation (Joy). it is a recurrent theme  but the truth is that creativeness never runs out. (see 10 2011 albums that made the year on contact lens section)

talvez infantil… ou simplesmente inocente. vamos mudar o mundo!e com esta música de cariz "world music". acima de tudo um sorrisinho e um final que não se está à espera. 

maybe a little childish or simply innocent. let's change the world! served with a "world music" song. above all a smile and an unexpected end.

2 TV on the Radio | Repetition

outro bom exemplo de animação. cenários que se repetem mas não da mesma forma… e de forma alguma tão "feliz" ou "limpa" como no 1º vídeo. rock'n roll pessoal, rock'n roll.

another good animated video example . sets that repeat but not in the same way… and not in such a "happy" or "clean" way as the 1st video. rock'n roll everybody, rock'm roll.

   o rico e o pobre | the rich and the poor

mesmo que o tema o possa sugerir, o post de hoje nada tem a ver com economia. a retina pretende apenas mostrar 2 exemplos de como tornar as coisas interessantes, de formas e recursos tão diferentes. a ver (e ouvir):

even if the subject might suggest, today's post nothing has to do with economy. retina just want to show 2 examples of interesting videos, in such different ways and resources

1 Battles feat. Matias Aguayo | Ice Cream

o parente rico do post. um sem número de elementos que dançam, se precipitam aos nossos olhos. será isto todas as emoções que se vivem ao comer um gelado? se sim... quero o mesmo gelado que ela.
grande vídeo (com aquele ar retro que agora está na moda)e grande som dos Battles. aproveitem o momento rico de sabores... 

the rich part of the post. a huge number of elements dancing and precipitating in front of our eyes. are these all the emotions that we can experience by eating an ice cream? if yes... i want the same ice cream :) great video (with that fashionable retro look) and great sound from Battles. enjoy this rich flavoured moment

2 Monster Rally | Color Sky

chamar-lhe pobre... parece mau. vamos designá-lo apenas como pobre em recursos, porque em originalidade temos de tirar o chapéu. "não há video? então colocamos a capa do álbum com a música por cima." quantas vezes não temos isso no youtube? aqui temos esse elemento (a capa) mas com uns pózinhos... para tornar a coisa menos pobre :) um loop visual e musical. pode ser pobre mas... quanto muito esboçamos um sorriso. a ver com atenção aos pormenores.

to call it poor,... it might not be fair. let's just call it poor in resources... because in originality there is no lack at all. "no video? so let's put the album cover with music." how many times we see that in youtube? in this video we do have that element (the cover), but with some magic powders... just to turn it less poor :) a musical and visul loop. might be poor but at least it can bring you a smile. watch it very carefully.
