Winter 2015

We have now been in Utah County for two months, and I can honestly say we have loved it! Our ward is fantastic, there are so many things to do around here, and we have friends that live close by. Since it's been so long since I've posted, I'm just going to post a lot of pictures- sorry! I'm not feeling very creative and I have a lot to put on here.

Since Brian graduated, he has been putting the boys to bed for me.

We moved!

I am excited to announce that Brian got a promotion to run the AT&T store in American Fork and we moved to Utah County just over a week ago! He has worked so hard and it has paid off. We toyed around with the idea of buying a house but decided not to because we don't expect to be there that long. Luckily we were able to find a cute little place and with the help of family, moved in one day and unpacked almost everything.

It was a busy first week....

This took up about 3 1/2 hours of one of my days. What looks like grout was actually caked on dirt. So disgusting. I had to use a bristle brush for car tires to get it off.

The transition has been a little rough... but it gets better everyday.

We're still living out of boxes, and we've had several furniture mishaps. Oh the joys of being an adult (as my mom would say)! But we love being here, and we love that Brian can be home from work in 7 minutes. Utah County has pretty much everything and so much to offer little kids. We are truly grateful for this opportunity and a new adventure!

Hiking with Daddy

A few weeks ago, Brian had the day off and I needed to run some errands so Brian offered to take the boys. He was being very mysterious as to where they were going and just sent me this picture when I texted him.

After I ran my errands (alone!) I came home to find the boys on the grass drinking soda and looking flushed. Turns out, they had gone on a hike and had an absolute blast! The pictures from their hike are some of my very favorites so I thought I'd share them.

 They just look so big in these pictures and my heart doesn't know what think, but oh how I love their sweet faces. They definitely had more fun hiking than go shopping with Mom!

Escape of the 2 year olds

Sleep has been a precious commodity... well let's be honest, since the boys were born, but lately it's been a struggle because they learned how to get out of their cribs! I think it's lucky we lasted as long as 2 1/2, but boy, it has been crazy these last few months.

We decided to just take off the sides of their cribs and turn them into toddler beds because they'll sleep in beds eventually and should get used to it.  As it turns out, taking the side down means "party time" for them.  They play and cry until they finally pass out in front of the door.

It has probably been 2 months of this now, with no looks of it changing. I've started just putting a blanket down in front of the door because that's where I always find them.

They have been wrecking their room every day

We've taken away naps because they'll keep each other up unless they're dead tired. They'll stay up until 11:30 or later people, it has been crazy! I've contemplated putting them in separate rooms, but I don't feel like that would work either. They would wonder where brother is and wouldn't go to sleep. The other problem is that Crew doesn't need as much sleep as Finn, so he'll go wake up Finn even if he is asleep. There have been many late nights/mornings. If you have any advice let me know!
