Easter at Bear Lake

All the kids in their Easter outfits for church up at Bear Lake.

The Girls

The Boys

Garden City Easter Egg Hunt...in the snow! Why did we think to come here for spring break! The kids got a lot of eggs, though, so I guess it was worth having frozen hands?!

Bella, Drake, Erica, and Kassidy

Kent (my brother-in-law) , Theron, Preston, Emme, and Grant...ready for the hunt!

Easter Egg dying with cousins Erica, Brynlee, and Kassidy at the condo.

Even Grant had a blast dying Easter Eggs!

Drake and Isabella playing and sledding in the snow!

Swimming...my kids favorite part of any vacation! They swam 2-3 times per day!

Bella with cousins.

Grant was scared at first, but slowly got used to the water.

Over Spring Break and Easter we went up Bear Lake with my sister Robyn and her family. We had a great time and had a much needed break from the stresses of real life! My kids love it there.
Thanks for the good times Robyn and Kent!

Reunion!

Isabella, Savana, and Makenna

Law school girls-Kathryn, Nichole, Karen, and myself

All the girls!

There is a great view of the Salt Lake City Temple from this restaurant!

We had the chance to have a little reunion with some of the law school girls when Kathryn was in town a few weeks ago. It was so much fun and so relaxing to just sit and chat! We ate at the Garden restaurant in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. The food was great, but the company was even better. Isabella was so excited to finally be reunited with some of her best friends. Isabella, Savana, and Makenna used to play together at least three times a week, if not more when we lived in Oregon. Savana was a little shy at first (o.k. for maybe 2minutes), but then they all got back into the swing of things and played, talked, and had a great time! Thanks girls for the fabulous evening!

Happy Birthday Daisy!

Bella's cat just turned one! We all love her (well, except Theron sometimes) and enjoy having her around. Happy Birthday Daisy.

Field Trip

Bella and best friend (in her class at school) Olivia, and Sara.

Waiting for the show to start!

Bella, Kaylin (our nextdoor neighbor), and Sara

Bella and Sara on the bus at the begining and at the end.

Last Friday I was able to go on a field trip with Isabella to see "Cinderella" performed by Ballet West. I was a blast just to talk to all of Bella's little friends in her class. I haven't been able to volunteer much in her classroom this year which is sad, but I was greatful that my mom watched Emme and Grant so I could go. Unfortunately Bella's "boyfriend" was sick so I missed out on meeting him...oh well I'm sure she'll have a new one next week.

We Need a Firepit

We'll Emme was in charge of the treat for Family Home Evening and she had to have roasted marshmellows. I suggested we try the grill. Theron thought I was crazy, but it worked! So we froze our buns off and ate roasted marshmellows in the middle of winter. I think we will be installing a fire pit in our backyard this summer.

Beauty and The Beast

Last week we went to see my neice, Paige, in the play "Beauty and The Beast" performed by the Riverton Theater Company. She was the pepper shaker and did a fabulous job. She changed out of her costume too fast to snap a picture, but she is above in the gray sweatshirt. We had a great time even though we didn't make it home until midnight!

Dora Cape

We got this lovely "Dora" cape in Mexico that Emmy just loves. Drake and Bella have also tried it on a few times-yikes!
