Crockpot Tasty Chicken

Yes. That's right. Crockpot Tasty Chicken. Greg and I came up with the name. I came up with the recipe. I wanted to make an easy dinner which meant Crockpot. But I also didn't want to have to go to the store for anything. So that meant using whatever I had here. I saw some potatoes, Cream of Mushroom soup and I decided to add carrots and chicken because I thought it would be a good combination; plus I didn't have much else. So I finally made it today and it turned out incredible! It looks like a mess but is great. It was so good and the chicken so so tender. :) Mmmmmm. Try it out. I think you will love it!

Ingredients:

  • 5-6 Chicken tenders
  • 2 large potatoes
  • 4 medium carrots
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1/3 c. water
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Directions:

  1. Place chicken in bottom of Crockpot.
  2. Peel potatoes, cube, and lay on top of chicken.
  3. Peel carrots, cut into 1-2 inch sections, and lay in Crockpot.
  4. Add soup over top and water.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
  6. Season with salt and pepper; serve.

Recently Greg and I have had colds and what better to help us feel better than homemade chicken noodle soup! I'm not sure where I got this recipe. I think I made it up while I was in high school. Anyways it is super easy and extremely delicious. It's great for when you're not feeling well and great for when you are. Try it out!
