Halloween...

here are some pictures from halloween. it was so much fun this year being on a saturday. i decided they should have it on saturday every year! kendall was a rock star (change of costume plans from a cheerleader on friday at 4pm....bad mom for even letting her change her mind), brooke was a angel (no need for costume, really!) and michael and i were 80's. so much fun...can't wait until next year!

our summer so far.......

busy, busy is what we have been this summer. kendall is having a great summer and enjoying the break (now if i can only get her sleep in, i would have it made!!!) here are some pics of the girls.....

kendall's recital...

here are a few pictures from kendall's dance recital last night. it was the most adorable costume i think i have ever seen. the pictures do it no justice....it was white with feathers all along the trim with a white flower and sequence in the center--baby doll style......she just loved being on stage and did a terrific job!!! such a proud mama.....oh, and brooke danced the entire way through the recital and when kendall's dance was on she did her hands just like kendall was doing.....maybe she is going to be a dancer herself....or maybe she has it memorized too, since they have been practicing it since january!!

the fastest four years of my life......

kendall turned FOUR last month, march 29th to be exact. where did the time go??? no really....she decided that she did not want to have a party this year, she wanted to go to great wolf lodge. it is a hotel with an indoor waterpark (fun for her, and me???--well it was her birthday request!) anyway, she had a lot of fun....

and i will just add in a picture of brooke that i thought was cute....here she is riding herself around in her car!!

open house at kendall's school....

last night was open house at kendall's school and i am going to take a moment to just completely brag on her school. i have been so happy with kendalll's preschool. i LOVE her school. the way they have it set up really helps the kids learn and they have so much fun doing it. every teacher up there really enjoys working with the kids...you can just tell. the school has music, computer and spanish class for thirty minutes each day. i feel so blessed to have found this school, because of us moving here in july, i did not know what (if any) type of school i would be able to find for her. here is what kendall has learned this year...

---she can write her name very well (all the kids can!!), they have worked so hard to help them with their handwriting

--she knows all her colors in spanish. she can also hold a small conversation in spanish. we were at the mall the other day and a lady asked her a how she was in spanish and she responded right. i would know more about what she has learned in this class if i knew any spanish at all.

--she knows how to open a program and play a game on the computer by herself. this is not always good when she wants to explore mine.

--she can tell you what month that we are in and what day of the month it is. this gets confusing sometimes on the weekends.

--she can do small math ( i mean small--really) for example, if you ask her--kendall if i am trying to get to 10 and i have 7, how many more do i need to get there, she will count up and say 3
