Phineas and Ferb equals funny Eliza quote
Eliza was watching Phineas and Ferb with Em this morning and it was the episode where they take the cows to the moon. Eliza looks at Emily and says, "Those cows are dumb."

Things I don't want to forget-this is from April and needs to be updated
Harrison
He started walking at 11 1/2 months. He says Uh oh and da da. He also is super loud when he does talk especially early in the morning when he should be sleeping. He has two teeth on the bottom and is working on the two top. He is a faucet of drool currently. He is a mama's boy and loves his sisters. He wants to do whatever they are doing. He loves all things food and is a happy little boy.
Amelia
She is a 3 year old going on 16. The other day it was cold outside and I asked her to put on a jacket. She was in a sundress and shorts and it was maybe 50 degrees. She told me no thank you and ran outside. Our neighbor Katya was outside mowing her lawn when Amelia made her exit. She was yelling "My mom wants me to put on a coat but I told her no. She makes me so mad." I am not looking forward to the teenage years.
She is now riding a petal bike. She is still really fast on it but sometimes prefers her strider bike still. She is super fast on that and knows how to stop. She hasn't figured out the braking system yet on the petal bike and tries to stop with her feet. We are working on it every day.
Purple is her favorite color and she has a purple castle, a purple house, a purple car and a purple unicorn.
She can spell Hylton. (I think it is because she hears me spelling our last name to everyone I talk to on the phone or at a doctor's office.)
The other day we were driving in the car and the girls were talking about people having Grandma Nash and Grandma Hylton's cars. Amelia looks over at Eliza and says "Eliza you are a clever one."
She is still a picky eater. She loves ramen noodles. She would eat those for every meal if I let her.
Eliza
She is stubborn as they come and I have been reminded several times that she is just like me as a child. Great!! She loves the to pretend she can't hear you when you talk to her.
Pink is her favorite color.
Everything has to match. If she has on a pink shirt, her shorts have to be pink too. There is no mixing colors. Getting dressed takes us a good two hours every morning with lots of tears and screaming. It's loads of fun.
She can ride a Razor scooter better then most 5 year olds.
She loves to wear dresses.
She hates me to do her hair.

Hello January in August
In January we took a Nash family vacation to St. George. I sure do love warm weather in January. It was nice to be able to be outside in 60 degree weather. The kids loved running around and swimming. My girls want to go swimming every day so they were in heaven. Amelia got sick and didn't get to swim one of the days and she was not a happy little girl.
My mom found this really awesome house for us to stay in. This is the way to vacation. Having a nice place to sleep and room for everyone was so nice. The kids loved every minute of it.
The kids are very blessed to have such a great Uncle Mark. My girls love him and especially Amelia. She climbs all over him. Sometimes I wonder if he is going to have a neck after she is done.
We went to the Children's Museum and as I am typing this Amelia is telling me that she loved it and wants to go back.
I love that I have a family that likes to spend time together and make memories. Our kids all enjoy being around each other and hopefully will grow up to be the best of friends. Hopefully we make this an annual tradition. We decided instead of doing Christmas presents we would take a family vacation to some place warm to get out of the cold.

We went to the Red Cliffs and did some hiking and exploring. It was a lot of fun. The kids had fun finding rocks and climbing.

I love that I have a family that likes to spend time together and make memories. Our kids all enjoy being around each other and hopefully will grow up to be the best of friends. Amelia and Eliza never cease to surprise me. I did not predict correctly which one would be the more out going or willing to try new things. I had Amelia pegged to be the one to ride her bike first and I was wrong. Eliza has really surprised me with how athletic she is. It will be interesting to see what she does as she grows up and where life takes her. Amelia is like me and it takes a little longer to build up the courage to try things. (I love that about her.) I don't think my heart can handle to dare devils. One is plenty for this mom.
