Horn Advancement

 Ryan has been working hard in band.  Here's a bit of how it's going. 

September 9th (about a month into school starting)

And, a few weeks after that: September 23rd.

He has made quite a bit of advancement!!

20th Anniversary of Red, White, Blue Game

 Stephen and I love our school.  Back when we were students, 9-11 happened.  It was a terrible time, but one that brought our country-and our classmates- together.  Within days, a way to donate to those in need in NYC was created.  

10 days later, at Saturday's game, students and fans set aside their traditional  "Maroon Out" t-shirts in favor of a special sight.  Each deck would commit to wear a specific color and create a "Red, White, & Blue Out."  Even Oklahoma fans lent their support.   

Special shirts were printed in mere days, and $5 times the number of supporters added up to over $180,000 in donations for first line workers.   

Back then, Stephen and I wore blue.  

Now, 20 years later, to commemorate the anniversary of 9-11, A&M organized a similar event.  This time, we wore  red.
