Year In Review-2009

Winter-

-Started my last semester of college

-Participated in Hand Gems

-Turned 22 and celebrated in style

-Dressed up A Lot

-Discovered Indrid Cold and Horkley's

-Played with my best fake niece, Evelyn

-Washed mounds of laundry at Meaghan and Mike's house

-Tried to stay sane about my future

Spring-

-GRADUATED!

-Got an internship to the National Postal Museum

-Spent a week in Palm Springs with my GrandParentals

-Found one job

-Found another job

-started seeing lots of movies...

-Bought my sexy green pants

Summer-

-Rode my scooter, one time hitting a cat...
- ate lots of snow cones
-worked a multitude of jobs(snow shack...favorite job ever!)
-saw even more movies
-ate at Cafe Rio every.single.week.
-went to my first Rodeo
-saw Iron and Wine in concert, hit a raccoon on the way home
-went swimming every week
-CAMPING!
-Enjoyed the Potato Museum
-Idaho Forever

Fall-

-Lived in DC
-Reconnected with my awesome cuz Vanessa
-Spent hours in Museums
-Rode the Metro everywhere
-Spent time with the Terrill side of the family!
-Hung out with my favorite intern Rachel
-Ate lots of Empanadas
-Learned what I want to do with my life
-Returned home!
-Got my first stitches
-Threw the coolest birthday party
-Loved my family

2009 was pretty much the bomb. Here is to 2010!

Left Behind

Monday morning when my Mom drove me to work, we kept noticing all these clothes strewn in the road. We started wondering why there were clothes in the middle of the road all.over.town.

Me- 'Maybe it was the Rapture.'
Mom- 'Why were all those people in the middle of the road? At night?'

We decided if it was indeed the Rapture, then we were left behind. At least we were left behind together.

Later Mom decided that the clothes were scattered by a woman scorned. That is as awesome as the Rapture.

Winter What?

I bought some boots. For the first time in a month, my feet are finally warm. I have worn them for three straight days, only taking them off to sleep. Warm feet=Happy Melissa.

Like Emily, I have been making postcards. Just spreading the Postal love.
