Santa and Mrs Clause surprised us with a visit. The girls were sooo excited. They could hardly believe it. (Ryen is a little skepitcal, but she really wants to believe.)

Tonight the girls decorated a ginger bread house. The girls were pretty creative in their decorating skills. Russ and I helped put the walls together and then we sat back and sipped on cocomotion while we watched them go to work. It was a nice ending to this crazy busy Saturday.

GOOD OL SANTA

Christmas season is always a fun and exciting one. We get to do fun traditions and look forward to the festive holiday lights. Last week we went caroling with all our "Gubler" cousins (it was the coldest night we have had yet) and took in a few cookies to some lucky people:)

The girls were also able to sit on Santa's lap and share with him their wish list.

Paisley...a baby, a highchair, a bigger stroller ( she already has all of this )

The accident

Well I am writing this for a couple of reasons. One being I am so grateful that Russ wasn't hurt anymore than he was and two to say goodbye to the old car that took quite a blow. (sorry Kacen)

A little history.......

Kacen is on his mission and he is very attached to his car. He left it in Russ's care because he didn't trust anyone else to drive it. He knew Russ would do regular maintenance on it and only drive it back and forth to the bank. Well things took a turn for the worse when a lady pulled right in front of Russ the other day hitting the old Buick pretty much head on. You just don't understand, he would have been better off driving a BMW than Kacens car. No one in the family thinks we should even tell him. That's how crazy it is. Things should be pretty interesting when we talk to him at Christmas. Wish us luck. Russ will need it. Here is a picture of the old thing. Try not to laugh because this is a serious matter:) I think he paid a hundred dollars for the thing.

The question we really need to be asking ourselves is why is he so attached to this thing?

We had such a yummy and fun Thanksgiving. We ate ourselves sick and then played a mean game of basketball. Luckily no one threw up:)

Paisley chose to have her party at Jumpin Jacks. It was a hoot. Her and Avery are too dareful for their own good. All she wanted was a new baby to add to her on going collection. Seriously, how many babies does a little girl need? She gets a new one and then wants another one. If she only knew what she was in for when she gets older maybe she wouldn't be so into them:)

I can't believe my baby has just turned three. Where did the time go? She says she is a big girl now and only sometimes she can be my baby. Happy 3rd Birthday Paisley! We all love you.

The girls had a very successful Halloween this year. They were able to hit up 2 trunk-r-treats, their school parades and then our normal Halloween night routine.

Our annual Halloween party was another big hit. We keep our costumes a secret until the big night when we show up. As you can imagine our faces when Hugh Hephner showed up with one of his bunnies! No suprise that Mom and Dad won the best costume. Nothing like thinking your parents are innocent! They sure proved us wrong. (We rarely see my Dad without a white shirt and a tie)We all couldn't stop laughing.

I will have to find our previous years pictures.

Im not sure how we come up with what we do but its well worth it.

Mom treated us girls to a night away with food, laughs, and a tiresome challenge of finding her some boots! I don't think we have laughed that hard in a long time. Gotta love getaways!

Where's the dude?

The girls were lucky to attend "Dudes and Doughnuts" at their school. They go and read books with their "Dudes". I sent them all on their way and told their "Dude" to take some pictures of their exciting time together. Well this is what we got......Next time I will be a little more specific:)
