This is also Chaydens first year. He will be the starting sophomore kicker for Bingham High and the varsity back-up kicker.




Wish me luck sitting through 3 (count them 3) games every week. Sigh.....

jeff's best vacation EVER

jeff had the week off so we thought it'd be fun to redo the boys bathroom. we've been getting several bids over the last few months and decided to save a little $ and tackle the project ourselves. since neither one of us has ever done any sheet rocking, mud and taping, plumbing or tiling......why not? i hate the door/wall that's smack-dab in the middle of the bathroom (check out where the toilet was BEFORE). i had NO idea that sheet rock made such a massive mess. we had to rip up the floor because i hated the toilet in front of the bathtub. the plumber gave us a bid of $600 but jeff and my dad decided to do it themselves. total cost: $70. i truly had no idea what i was doing. jeff and i checked out youtube A LOT. i was the most excited about this floor.....until i had to do it. jeff was cutting tile late into the night (notice the head lamp). i LOVED the faucets. i ordered them off of amazon but they forgot to put a part in the package. my sweet, sweet husband spent a total of 8 hours and 4 trips back and forth to home depot. what a guy! look at that floor!

not only did jeff and i save several $1000s, but we had the best time together.

so long, dear friend

i've had a little friend that has enjoyed living in the bottom of my foot for the past few years. i've tried everything to get rid of it, but it continued to enjoy it's stay. finally, the doctor and i decided to try to permanently get rid of it by literally digging it out. this better work.

a taste of spring

laura taught me how to grow tulips and daffodils during the ugly winter months. i'm having the winter blues this morning and am glad I have a bit of spring in the house.
